CTG Music Newsletter 28th August 2005
CTG Meeting cancelled

Unfortunately, the planned meeting in Gdansk in August did not come true. We didn't manage to find enough participants for the meeting and were forced to call it off. However, the idea isn't buried, we will try again later and hopefully with better luck. Keep updated! :)

AOTM and CTG mixes

We know there have been shameful delays with the awards, but we took action and we are catching up. We announced Artist of April - a great breakbeat producer, Kcirr3d and a funk master - Lord Wallace for May.

There is also a new CTG mix available, also after a break - great trance tunes mixed by Rave-n.

Interview: Artist of the Month May '05: Lord Wallace

This time the award of AOTM goes to Lord Wallace, our best composer in the jazz and funk genre. What he enjoys most is the opportunity to improvise, and certainly, the genres of jazz & funk are excellent mediums in which to do just that.

The CTG's Artist of April 2005 is Derrick Bouman, known as Kcirr3d - a great breakbeat producer, experienced musician, as well as an active CTG member. As we can learn from the interview, a quite interesting figure as well.

Once we're back with mixes, there's no way to block the flood. This time its official (though bit late) CTG Trance Mix vol. May 2005, mixed by Rave-N  As usual, mix contains some of the best electronic dance CTG tracks released in May. We will listen from progressive trance in the beginning, thru two amazing breakbeat songs finishing mix with some very good full on melodic trance. We really hope you'll like listening to this mix, be sure to check the artist within it, and enjoy it very much.
