Hello !
Well I am currently working on remixes for competitions - and some competitions end in 4 days. There are about 6 songs to remix each from a different competition. Today, I already spend since this morning on one remix, and I will hopefully finish it today as I usually take one day to finish one song (Yes , I have holidays now)
It all comes down to how much time you spend making music, learning, improving. Also your mood plays a vital role as you need to want to make music. Good thing is you can save stuff and if you don't have time, make yourself templates so you can draw up songs quickly.
Don't forget to have something handy to jodd down melodies or beats. Helps if you play an instument and know notes as well. I usually quickly make a project and add just the melody and save it for when I have time to make the entire track

okey.Nice Exactly same here.I'm using Renoise and still make music  my genres its still same as 3 or 5 years back.i still produce trance but also some jumbstyle.  |
