Part #2 of Dead Prophets series. I had to buy another computer just to render the orchestral part (not because it's particularly complex, I just owned a really old computer.)
"'And I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for one thousand two hundred sixty days, wearing sackcloth.' These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes; anyone who wants to harm them must be killed in this manner. They have authority to shut the sky, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire. When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the bottomless pit will make war on them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that is prophetically called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days members of the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb; and the inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and celebrate and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to the inhabitants of the earth. But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and those who saw them were terrified. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, 'Come up here!' And they went up to heaven in a cloud while their enemies watched them. At that moment there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven." - Revelation 11:3-13 nrsv |

Kcirr3d: *ping* you've got no.. actually it's a review
do I really have to read all that cheesy text in the artist comments?
Talking about cheesy let's try and review the song. Wich i think is truly amazing ... within the cheese spectrum. But also as a serious music piece. this song can be a lovesong, a soundtrack, music for anime as STiLe wrote... multifunctional.
Mixing and mastering is top notch here, much work should have gone into this one, and I also think you spend a lot of money on this softsynth guitar sounding vsti.
It really sounds good, like a very expensive high quality plugin. Off course real guitarists would curse you for this.
The structure and arrangement are just fine. Very good even, wick makes the song more interesting than it already is.
yes,m i enjoyed it. good production.

Hi people! let's start reviewing this one...
PartySan told us that this piece wolud have a rating of 10/10...well i'm ready to say if this is true
Technically, sounds very good...the samples are very realistic and the guitar sounds good too, even if a good ear can understand that is synth... but not bad really!
But what gives a piece the chance to be listened and listened many and many times is the melody, i think... and this one has a good but no very original melody, i think...very very very well arranged, but not so original, except some passages specially at the last minute...
Mmmh, remembers me very closely some anime soundtracks this piece wolud be good for this pourpose!
Well, what more to say? i must note again that the arrangement is very good and complex, i like it very much
So, what more to say? i agree with PartySan that this piece is very very good, but in my opinion 10/10 is not the right rate... i will rate it with a...

Melodies are simply divine, and the guitar samples sound too realistic!
10/10 from me. Maybe a review later, but not yet. |
