Artist Comment:
The sounds in the song are pretty decent I think, but the melodies could have been better. However, I couldn't find that melody that I wanted when I was writing this track, and I felt it was time to move on.
You'd make me happy if you left a comment after you've listened.

Review this song! - Song Reviews (3):

--This review is from the Vanguard Reviewer Division. Expect accurate crit. for better music. None of the following statements are personal attacks, so instead use them to improve your music.--

Intro - Sounds alot like Ferry Corsten style basslines.

Build - Fairly repedative, does not change. Try adding some cool backgroup synth effects to make it all better. and...

Break - Wonderful break, sounding very well put together. The melody itself is nothing special, but sounds fine. More dynamics will bring it out more.

Chorus - Charging through. Bring that kick out!

2nd Break - Effective, yes, amazing? maybe....

2nd Chorus - Effective, but no big changes. You have some good parts, some bad parts. No goosbumps.

Breakdown - Simple breakdown, no giant array's of FX. Very subtle.

Outro - Simple yet effective. It works, but not very original to say the least :P

Overall you've got some cool skills and feel for melodies, but your not quite there. Try working on making your melodys have more dynamixs, making them sound more alive.

7/10 for me. Good, but not astounding.

Hello people!!

I like melody, drums, kick, claps.. but.. have you listen this bass??? wowow! really amazing! I don't know what did you use to make it or where do you find this preset, but save it and use again, it's great ;)

Other nice point of this tune are timbals, it makes a housy atmosphere that works perfectly with progressive sounds, all the mix sounds quite nice this strange sound makes better the drums part.

And all turn off.. except main pad.. (maybe a bit soon imo, I like tracks with large intro to mix it better, but nice) and when the track goes to a dark atmosphere, it comes.. what a synth!! melody and synth are the best of the track with his amazing bass.

Maybe one of the best tracks that I listen to you.. really amazing. congratulations. Maybe it sound better with more pressure in all of his sounds, try to compress more ^^ all the rest.. just amazing!!

hi!

this is a nice uplifting track. over the last few months ive lost interest in supersaws and arpeggios, and have looked more towards prog trance (like the music solarstone et al play). this track definately caters to my taste.

it has long lazy melodies, nice steady buildups and drawn out breakdowns.

the percussion is good, the mid freq percussion in particular and the snare and hihats work very well. the kick is quite nice, although sounded a little erm, punchy, maybe (hard to explain).

the bassline didnt really appeal to me, it seemed a little simple, i would have liked to hear another layer of bass in there to make it a bit more interesting. still it succeeds in being bassy which is the point i suppose.

the melodies are nice, the sound used is pretty standard but very nice nonetheless. the pads are good, although maybe a little more resonance or chorus or something would make them a bit fuller.

the structure isnt half bad, it launches into a beat straight away which is always a good thing, the breakdowns and sections seem to be the right length and i didnt get bored at all (on listen number 4 now).

quality - im a tracker myself and disagree with allegations that trackers are lower quality than sequencers, this track is a case in point.

overall then i like this track, i cant find any glaring omissions other than it feeling a little empty in places and the bassline not being as high quality as the rest of the track.

cheers

andy

I feel the need to leave a comment or review on this song now... but since I'm an insignificant fledgling, I will merely leave a comment. ...long comment? :P

Perhaps people don't find music. Music finds us?

At any rate, I was looking for something in my playlist that was trance and chill compared to the powerful club anthems I've been listening to lately because I'm kind of in one of those moods...

Anyways... I was just expecting something as a background ambience to my stormy mood, but instead found something hypnotically soothing.

The long staggered beginning and slow paced melody make the track seem like it's projecting some sense of deep longing. The emotional quality of the track is amazing. It's the type of track that at the right moment could hit someone and touch him/her really deeply.

People who feel a bit out of sorts or broken, as all humans are to some extent if they pull off the facades they wear, will feel really connected to the track for its intensely strong emotional quality. I can picture people at a rave, when this track kicks in, feeling the music and feeling connected to each other. I think that that is absolutely ingenious.

I didn't feel like the song was empty. I thought it had enough elements to get its point across.

Impeccable track. By far, one of the most gorgeous CTG songs I've ever heard. Sorry... Long comment :P

Typical for you, really intense feeling in track =) beat is strong, melody is good, sounds are pretty smooth, but.. even to be progressive trance, could there be a bit more? couple of layers, more melody stuff? Anyways, pretty good job
