This track might be best described as being alternative-intelligent-trippy-hiphop.

Dirty breaks, piano and South American flutes by Sonus coupled with the excellent lyrical stylings and word play of Does Stir.

We hope you enjoy.

[.general]

Huge atmospheric triphopish tune, about as good as it gets.

The only thing I didn't like was the female vocals in the middle, they were fitting guess, just not really my thing. I won't say they're bad, I just didn't like them :P The rapping was good, and the beats and everything else is amazing. I mean, THE BEATS! I can't get over them, absolutely perfect! Great use of the distorted vocal samples. I really like how the distortion spreads out on the stereo on that voice  Wonderful sounds and addictive atmosphere bring this all to a clincher as an amazing tune.

There's not a lot to say about the production, since it's absolutely top. But maybe there's an emphasis too much on the bass end of the kick, and not on the actually upright bass sound, maybe if the bass was compressed so that it didn't fade off so quick after the hits you could boost it's volume a tad with no ill effect. Otherwise though, great sounds and design, not a thing to complain about.

This song is freaking amazing. Suggested to all as a download

Thanks Mary!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :-)

I agree that the vox are a bit distant.

Really fantastic stuff guys.
only real comment, is that the vocals are a bit far back in the mix.
Still great tho :)

this is a cool piece, easy with the reverb though. somehow the piano is not working at full potential and the rap lacks in additude. maybe I'm just too confuzzled with the mass amount of reverb action going on. liking the drums anywayz.
has a lot of potential but doesn't manage to turn new sleeves in my book, perhaps not exactly the sort of hop I enjoy listening to. good stuff nevertheless.
