I did not enjoy this song so much  The song seemed to lack a lot of content and diversity in instruments. I think the most redeeming quality of the song would be the percussion which uses a very interesting beat. The melody of the song and general concept is actually really good but the lack of diversity in instruments leaves quite a lot to be desired.
I guess what I am really saying is that the composition of the song is good but the production is not of top quality. The use of things like Bottle Chiffs (which I am fairly sure I can hear) would (imo) be better replaced by a different sound as they tend to end up sounding slightly cheesy. (Maybe you were aiming for this?)
Overall I would give the song a 5 rating. I know I sound like I am being pretty harsh in this review but don't get me wrong. I enjoy the composition of the song but there are aspects of the song which I don't enjoy. |
