Just more electro-techno-acid-fuckin-with-the-knobs action.

Hope you enjoy...

Someone listens to Aphex Twin (or should do if they haven't already).

Some parts of this track are really really great!

Opening - great.
1:25 - bizarre.
2:45 - awesome (great synth riff that enters).
Ending - a little bizarre.

But then this music electro-psy-acid!

Regarding the mix, some of hte sounds seem a little too loud for my tastes. For example, the bass drum, and some of the percussive sounds. Also the low synths are REALLY dominant when they enter. The balance is NEARLY right in this track, but not perfect.

You have some really cool motifs and ideas in this track, but I was hoping that you would expand them and develop them. As it stands it's a track fuill of really cool short ideas, instead of a track which develops one or two of those ideas. I'm not saying you have to do that, but I do think it would be more interesting if you do that. However, that is just my opinion!

The synth riff is absolutely killer, you could use that again and again and again. Awesome stuff.

Overall, it's really good, and definitely very innovative, but the mix is imbalanced for my tastes and I was disappointed that you didn't develop the ideas more.

Nice work.

This song has a deceptively polite start, with a single synth and some drums. The melody is pleasent, and the adjustments on the synths add some great variety. After this intro, some additional sounds are introduced, and an alternate melody line that creates dissonance is added one and faded through. These synths are changed around endlessly, and then another synth is added on with the previous synth fading out. This only lasts for a few measures, however, until another transitions sets up the primary melody of the song that is not only superbly written but the effects on the synths are amazing. This fades into some harsher sounds as the final third of the song approaches. The melody carries you out until the outro, where chords fade out the song.

An excellent song showing prowess in not only being able to reuse the same melody for extended periods of time but also in the synths themselves. The entire song is extremely well varied, with a synth coming in here or fading out there, and the mixing was admirable. I personally would have preferred some of the harsher synths to be toned down or removed, and that may increase the audience that enjoys this song, but thats my opinion. Definately a recommended listen.

Heh, yea someone mentioned the harshness of the synths - I dunno, I kinda like them :)

Anyways, thanks for the comment, I'm glad you got some 'whooa-cool' out of it :D
