I like the intro, you get down to business quickly. Vocals are nice and full, well done.
The sound quality in general is good, but it apears you have too much reverb in some parts, like the kick, without using it as an actual effect. Also, there are too many high tones, and the bass could use just a bit more punch. Should be easy to accomplish I believe.
I really liked the part where the first melody slowly comes in, it really sets a good mood IMO. Therefore I was a bit dissapointed with the pay-off... Not as good as I hoped it would become.
Second melody, really nice... like that acid synth, but IMO you missed a chance there to give the track not only a bit more diversity, but a whole different feel altogether. Acid synths ROCK and always make for lovely contrast with the kind-of-standard trancy synth you use trhoughout the song. So I think it's a shame that this part of the song is so short.
Especially with the change of kickdrum near the end, the acid synth could have really given this track a more interesting and diverse sound.
Summary:
- Soundquality would be excellent with some work on the peaks and reverb
- trancy synth overused, missed chance as there is a very promising acid synth that unfortunately is very short
- maybe a combination of the acid synth and the different kickdrum could really complete this song
I give this song a 6.5, because it is not bad, but could use some more work to really finish it into a well structured and sounding track!
