Firstly, wow. The sound quality for an 'amateur' production are astounding. Fabulous mixing and intrument choice make for a very rich sound which is extremely professional sounding. I've no idea what tools were used for this production, but the production is simply stunning.
The music... Jazz is generally not my type of music, but this has opened my eyes a little bit to it. The sound is sublime, really chillout, relaxing, but spine chillingly good. Couple this together with such a soft, but clean vocal, and we're left with what could very be one of the best songs on CTG music, bar none.
The arrangement is spot on too... The song just glides from star to finish, like the flight of a condor, elegant and smooth... The song progression is simply wonderful, I find drifting from one part of the song to another goes almost unnoticed its sooooo darn smooth!. At 3:09 we're treated to a jazzy piano solo, which was very welcome in the track too - it doesn't last too long, but long enough to make it one of the songs many highlights, and it happens, just at the right time too...
Overall what we have here is a fabulous track, both in production quality and downright enjoyability. A very strong vocal with some really nice lyrics work an absolute charm with the music, and it's hard to put this track down, once you've listened just once. The atmosphere is haunting, but in a very nice, warm fuzz way. I think I got my jaw wound back in now
