I just do whatever I fancy at a given moment and assume that it would sound better if I hadn't dropped out of music school.

modern music makes use of parallel fifths and eighths. it's the new thing!

plus, you go into parallel fourths (or inverted fifths or whatever) every half of a phrase, so it's not like it's really repetitive. and I would argue that the parallelism isn't against different voices, and that the fifth's operate as one unit or something (no, I can't remember all that techno-mumbo-jumble :D ).

For the sake of discussion I went back and looked and it's two Phrygian scales moving in parallel fifths.

My old music teachers would impale me with a baton.

it's a mode of the major scale, or the natural minor.

I honestly have no idea what scale I used for the melody. :)

Love the drums, they remmind me of some chinese kungfu movie. The melody however sounds middle-eastern. This needs more sexy girls bellydancing :]
