I really like this. So many electronica pieces nowadays get much too repetetive. You seem to be one of relatively few electronica artists who understands the concept of variety.
The introduction isn't anything spectacular, but a really nice beat develops soon afterwards that carries the listener through the rest of the piece. Also I really like the piano! Being a pianist I suppose I'm one to appreciate piano parts in any piece, but I especially liked how you worked it in here.
You certainly don't have an issue with song length. This is good, but I think this song is actually a little too long. There's just a point where any particular song has said all it can say, sung all it can sing, etc. After the first 3-4 minutes or so, I felt like I was in a sense continually expecting the end, but never getting it.
Instruments were put together well, and I can't fault the mastering. Good stuff, good stuff. |
