I'm not a big electronic IDM fan - but I'll give this a go and return the favor. I have heard a lot of original scene music from the 90's so I'm not completely lost I guess.
This has a totally enveloping huge sound. I can only imagine the effect this would have in a club at loud loud loud volume. I think the audience would have no choice but to bounce to the beat. That in itself is very impressive.
The main melody is a happy almost game music affair. Nothing sad about this at all which I guess would be great if the idea is to get intoxicated and dance your cares away.
The production - it is obvious that nothing subtle is involved here - this music is about INTENSITY and does that in droves.
I can easily see this in a club so well done !! |
