I do remember hearing the original track on the radio years back and I did enjoy it considering that was the closest thing I got to Trance! The beginning definitely puts off a good impression! I love that classic Progressive House build up you used! Damn, I'm really digging the build up! Just amazing! The beat was a good choice - definitely puts off a progressive feeling! I also like the way you bring the vocals up... Really nice arrangement job there!
Now that we're in the song and going strong, I do realize something I must point out. At this point, I'm not really hearing any newly added samples of your own that are added outside of the original track. I do hear a few as we progress, but I wish you would have added more of your own melody. I do hear significant changes in the beat which is nice!
As I continue to listen on, I notice that this remix goes along well with the original which is good, I just wish you would've added more of your own kick. I do hear some sample changes from the original song and you changed the tone of them slightly, nice job with that! Whoa! As the outro beings to make its appearance, I am amazed! Is that a transition into a new song, or is a part of your remix? If it's another one of your songs, which is it?
To conclude, this was a very well done and enjoyable mix for sure! I'd have to say it's the best one I've heard from you yet! The arrangement was top notch along with the minor edits you made to the original song! That and along with all of the modified aesthetics made to the original song to mix in with your mix definitely makes this to my playlist! |
