hey Blue ,and here's my review for you -->hope you'll read it
so..let's get to the important things here :
--> First ,the track needs a bit of more mastering & mixdowns in the drums section (especielly to the kick & the hihats )....to make it sound much better. Second ,there's no break between the parts of the track ,I mean you made an intro & outro...but where's the break in the middle?...there should be one (espceielly in trance genres...)
-->The melody riffs and the atmospheres where pretty good (I like those blips..  ) ,the bass gave a warm feeling to the track...
but there's something I just didn't really understood here -what kind of genre you were trying to create...it felt like something between an upfitting trance and chillout or 'chill trance'...

Cyber Trance? I've never heard of that. I must not be keeping up with the latest Trance trends, then... But, wait a minute. My first impression is that this sounds classic! We're talking way back when, here! It reminds my of a classic chiptune! Do I like it? Oh, yes! The beat is very good and the overall melody is just.... interesting! The reason I say that is because the whole classic aesthetically sounding appearance of this track is well... classic. 
I don't hear many major progressions. I do wish the track was longer and featured some more change ups perhaps introducing more new samples and melody changes do add a little more kick and interest. The whole chiptune mixed in with Trance idea you presented here was cool! I don't hear much of anything like that anymore. It in fact reminds me of old Amiga Protracker mods, or if you want to go further up, Impulse Tracker modules. Pretty cool.
Overall, since this is a short track, there's not a whole lot to say. Some major cons to throw out there is that it was too short and seemed to change up a little in the end but then you decided to end it for whatever reason! You should've added something more to it, like some more classic chiptune-trance samples too add more interest and maybe even adding more to the melody. Whatever, this was still enjoyable! |
