I agree.
Nice idea to show us how you use the hardware.
The beat is nice.
I like the Psytrance kick.
Sounds a bit like 90's Psytrance, but I think it gives the track a nice boom boom.
Also nice variations in the track.
My Dutch friend will go crazy when I show him this track.
I'd like to get the mp3 for a new Psytrance Promo mix somewhere.
And you guys should play this on stage with your hardware.
That would be something new.
At least I didn't see many Electronic music people going on stage playing their synths like a real band yet.

Well, this certainly is interesting, refreshing and right up my alley. I'm a big hardware guy, my full studio is also quite cramped. Not as many synths and other excellent looking gadgets for creating big sound, but I do prefer to play along with my original works. Gives a swing-ier feel to vibes. Nice gear and set up. I'm sittin' here the whole time trying to observe the playing of all the parts. Very fun.
As for the track, no real flaws in terms of creativity, arrangement and quality of the recording. Beat is nice, choice of kick matches the power of electronics. Just a bit more production is the only suggestion when it comes to the drum loops. For example, a fast bpm can really get funky by breaking it down half time and adding a snare for a spell during some portion of the track is the only suggestion I got. Maybe one more late breaking melody before wrap up with another wacked out synth phrase. Could kick it up a notch but I'm not complaining. Please, only a suggestion on my part, grain of salt sort of thing. Excellent skills packed into that studio session.
Otherwise, I am really impressed by the effort, collaboration and final product. That looked like a whole lot of fun. Keep it up and take that stuff to the stage, you'll have a blast and so will the crowds.

What a production! Not only that, but an actual handmade production! Doin' it old style, bitch! The very first opening of the song was awesome! It contained an awesome changing sample that gave an awesome psytrance opening! Kinda spacey. The changes in it are awesome! That beat build up was awesome! When the beat starts, the electro sounds are freakin' awesome! I'm just hearing a song with a nice energetic beat, cool samples, awesome build up techniques which falls into awesome arrangement overall!
At the first breakdown, still hearing some awesome samples there! Definitely giving me that Sci-Fi atmospheric dark Trance chill! Just love it! As I listen on, not much changes. I hear some breakdowns, awesome arrangement, cool samples, etc. all of which makes an awesome track! The bass is vibrating my freakin' 7.1 surround sound headset lol! Probably because I have the volume up so high lol. Well, not much to explain other than this is one sexy track! Cool samples, arrangement, sick beat. Oh, and the creativity was great!
I'll make my final statement short. Good job! |
