Man, it's been a long time since I've listened to a tribal track, 90's sometime. I totally forgot about the genre. Overall, after the first run through the song I like it, it has more of a soft Sunday or sunset vibe to the relatively typical house track. It does need another step up to take it to the next level, but the groove and drum flow is very nice and developed. An excellent base for further development.
The organ riff, very housey, could be souped up a bit by playing with the resolution or something through out the song. Realtime knob effects, if ya know what I mean. It would draw out some raw-ness out of the four bar organ loop while minimizing the repetativeness. Or, just suggestions, a vocal riff would fit the mix and solidify the house theme, but it is fine the way it is. I admire the slight slience break at 2:34sec and then drop back into the beat. Good form.
Good groove with minimalist production. A solid peice of work. The sound quality is professional and indistinguishable between amateur and signed artist work and that is commendable to me. I'd like to here more production.
