The beginning puts off a great feeling! We have a beat that is solid and hard hitting. A plus there! There is a quick build up... nothing wrong with that, at least I know this will be a faster paced track. I'm hearing some good build up arrangement etc. That first breakdown featured some interesting sounds. Maybe the dB on some of the snares, samples, etc were too loud.... When you build it back up, it still sounds great! Energetic and awesome! Whoa, then comes in that first breakdown! That was fast and unexpected.
The song changes up here. Slowly. It reminds me of a 90s mainstream Trance breakdown of some sort. The variety is nice for sure, but I wish you would have kept the energetic, 1/2 atmospheric feeling going. You sort of brought that dreamy stuff in unexpectedly. Still sounding good though. Nevertheless, I am still hearing awesome sounds, and great arrangement for sure. The dreamy aspect is a little annoying though, but then again, that's apart of the song. That kick beat is pretty cool. Also adds to the danceable nature of this.
Overall, this is a good production. Great arrangement, samples, and beat! Very energetic as well! although, that dreamy piece that came in was a little unexpected and unnecessary. I'm not the biggest fan of dream Trance, but that's just me!  |
