quite moody chillout song... made when I just got a new girlfriend... that's always very inspiring

from the first seccond we are welcomed by damn perfect pads and very smooth, warm and nice chords playing in the background.
01:00 strings came in. godd desicion. it adds more emotions. tune is getting filled with inside power ] (i like the way i expressed myself) 
later, mini trance leads come in. it sound individual in this tune kinda creative i would say
i have mentioned in my comment, that the beat is very simple and very godd! flawless!
again in the middle of the tune we can hear very nice chords.

Very nice tune, i like it. As nifflas said, very clear sound and all. I like the wide picture you have managed to express here. However, its not very original, and the chords tends to be quite repeteive. You couldve had a few drums breaks here and there, right now its just one simple beat repeating itself thru the tune. But maybe then again, its just me... Anyway, i grant this one a 8. Nice tune  |

This is beautiful piece of art 
I always loved ambient. My life seems to lack some lounge and thus ambient gives a place to run. Your song is just great! And the atmosphere is overwhelming! I guess I should find me a girlsfriend 
Anyway, to the point. From the very beginning the track moves my imagination. Those pads are so incredibly beautiful, I even can't express myself... Not only the chords are very emotional, the sound itself is very deep, creates the mood. I love the reverb on it, the way you put all this together. It sounds beautiful. Till the string comes the song just screws my mind. The string seems to be somewhat out of the rest. It is probably too bright comparing to those cut-off pads. Some deep electronic lead would fit better IMO. Or maybe you should have lower the volume of this string, to make it barely hearable. So it is put somewhere into the very background of the arrangement...
The beat is quite sharp, but somehow doesn't annoy me. Maybe you could create some heartbeating bassdrum instead of such breakbeat, but I think it's enough good this way. It's good, that through most of the song, there are no percs, so the mood can be created without anything which would get you out of the trance. Anyway they don't destroy the mood. You did great job - the whole arrangement somehow creates a nice mixture of downtempo and ambient. And none rules the other one, everything is delicate here. I'm impressed. As said before - I think I shoulg get a girlfriend .
The deep e-piano and chord change at 3:24 are great. Not only they keep the listener such as me interested, but also they create a great change. I also like the piano very much. Although it sounds like mda Piano, which sound is very unoriginal to me, you used it great, it plays somewhere behind the scene and does a great job. Especially that the melodies are really nice and it only multiplies the atmosphere. I love it all! An along with the beautiful pads and this weird guitar-like sound playing this short riffie...  Really - unbeliveable job on the atmosphere! Tell your girlfriend she influences you greatly and very positively .
The mix is just like the rest - GREAT. The song is dynamic, quiet, but deep. It's not crowded, it's very transparent and all details can be easily heard. I would only lower a bit the volume of the string, no further changes are required. The song is made very well. I can hear experience of a good musician. 
But the overall sound has so called "Buzz syndrome". I mean the whole thing is a bit low on quality. It's hard, but possible to create brightly sounding songs in Buzz, few people know how to do that. I wonder why is it so, Buzz looks like a good proggy, but there surely is something wrong with it's render quality. Or maybe it's the fault of bad generator quality?  I don't know, but I'm sure the quality would have been better if only the song was mastered by some absolute expert. That's the only flaw in your song.

I feel great. Your song is just the kind of music I like most. It's the escenece of ambient, the type I always would like to produce, but somehow I can't... Maybe that's because I don't have a girl? Anyway, I like your new girlfriend very much .

This is a very beautiful and dreamy song. It's mixed in a way which makes it sound crystal clear! I love the pads, and they way they're filtered. The beat is simple, yet very nice. The part which begins at 3:24 adds nice variation to the song. I know many people might think this song is somewhat repeative, but in a dreamy piece of music like this, I don't really think it matters.
Actually, I can't think of any negative feedback to write in this review.
 This is a beautiful, and very dreamy tune, which I highly recommend. |

Even though I have this song on my Harddrive for quite some time now, I still wanted to review it, because the song must be the one of the best chillout tracks on CTG. I admire about every second of it
When the track starts with the string, and that other intrument (what ever its name is) I instandly start to get into a deep deep trance. I also instandly think that a beat will drop into it pretty soon, and the unexpected thing is: It takes almost a minute before the beat drops in. First a few strings enter and they have the same harmony as the rest of the song, I was pleasantly surprised by them, because I thought it were going to be drums as I said.
Anywayz, the beat doesnt sound that complicated, but it works as hell. In case you didn't drop yourself into the beauty that this song harbours you will drop into it now This is a massive piece of chillout I have to say that.
I really adore your filtered sound, it's amazing. Together with the piano, later in the song it's such a relaxing combination. I really adore them.
Heh, the only reason I'm not rating higher is because I dun believe there is such a thing as a perfect tune. But I surely won't change anything about this! It rox

I liked this track right from the word go very beautiful in places with some very relaxing melody's that are just so dream-ish they do really lift this tune very moody downtempo oh and yeah that is a nice lil guitar at 3:56 ..
arrangement Very well thought out right from the intro with it's very silky smooth melody's with those nice high strings always adding to the atmosphere when the other samples join in they compliment one and other so well the nice guitar or the beautiful piano help lift this track to another level ..
melody Love the melody's in here they just set that right mood the intro melody is very beautiful when the strings come in then we get a nice beat line while the melody's keep on building up the smooth pads do a very good job while the piano and the guitar just adds that nice relaxing feeling ..
feeling Right from the start Sweetness puts you at your ease you can just unwind to this track take away the stresses of the day or imangin your own theme running in your thoughts enjoy ..
My thoughts on Sweetness from first play this just grabs you the very good production on the track is awesome to say the least the intro melody is very dream-ish at 1:40 mark you bring in a nice enough beat to blend in with the melody's just lacks some punch and varation the melody in this part runs till 3:28 where we get a nice break point in the outro track with that nice guitar and the cute piano very nice overall the this runs till the end with a nice fade out to sum up one very good tune good production awesome melody's and most of all very enjoyable to listen to enjoy .. |

This track has potential. That's all I have to say. It's so great it's left me speechless and really touched me.
But quality-wise it's lacking in places, and with this raised to perfection I wouldn't be surprised to hear this as a soundtrack in a movie at all.
Oh yeah, one comment I do have: The snare is too sharp. I highly recommend to either dampen the reverb or reduce the high freqs a bit.
And while I'm at it: Some freq clashing problems that need to be looked at as well. The sound is currently a little too blurred out...although I guess that could have been intentional. But I would've liked the mix to be a little more defined and 'easier' to listen to, as well as having a cleaner overall sound. Some noise on the synth opening up the track. Also the lead string volume envelope doesn't sound realistic enough.
But this really is Café Del Mar style, and with improved mixing this really should belong there.  |

I don't understand how, and/or why I finished here on this old song's page, I push the download button, now I listen this....
Today was, like usually on monday is, monotone, when summer incooming in this piece of south italy, in the morning, when its 7 and I going to work, I don't had my jacket, the summer is arrived...
Oh, again at home, turn on my pc, www.ctgmusic.com, how I used to do, let me get some song just to listen something different, not that fuc**d radio or Mtv.

i think the snare is bit too hi-end.. but when listening this quiet then it doesn't matter that much..
i like the pads very much... very nice stuff, i like this kinda material a lot.. i don't this has the same attraction as your other chills, but this is definetly good shit too, maybe more skillful atleast i think i have to do another chillout mix soon |
