Amazing realistic orchestral samples, very professional sounding synths, this sounds just like outta 'the movie'. Great arrangements of various instruments, well executed high speed tune which i find rather hard to compose in such pro-sounding way. Youre excellent composer and proucer. Too bad its a little short. |

I guess this track was inspired by Matrix II: Reload movie. But may be I am wrong. Nice blend of realistic orchestra sound, synthesized samples, and some ethnic percussion. The tension is created by monotonous percussion dronning while the melodic part moves. It really involve a listener to atmosphere of the imaginary chase. Great mixing skills together with really bright talent allow this artist to create amazingly brilliant tracks. I am glad we have this artist on ctg. |

Paul, I'm probably reviewing a lot of your songs for some reason. Most likely, cause I think they're definitely worth my time to review!
This is definitely one of the best tunes I've heard from you. Again, I love your mixing techniques. I still need to work on mine. The clarity of this mix alone already sounds like a track that is mastered and ready for implementation to a movie. The imagery I get listening to this only enhances the song. I keep thinking of something like the movie Torque (which I never saw) or some Yakuza Japanese gang thrashing around Tokyo.
High props to the composition, mixing, and effects used. This is definitely pro level and would match any Hans Zimmer action score in all areas of quality. Great, but not perfect, cause NOBODY is perfect!

A nice, very well done fast paced orchestral piece, well suited for a theatrical performance. Sound quality is excellent, and transitions are for the most part well done. Towards the end the transitions seem to get a little sloppy, but they don't detract from the overall enjoyment of the piece.
It starts out slow, but works its way into what can only be described as an action sequence. What stands out the most is the number of "flairs", like when there is a string hit, indicating that something is likely happening in the action that the music is to be synched to. Great care was taken to time them well.
Talk about excellent sound, this is about as real as it gets. Excellent strings, well done percussion, and good use of effects add to the overall environment of this piece.
This is not without flaws, however, as towards the end there are some transitions that seem a bit too sudden, as if some of the instruments completely are cut off unnaturally, and the next part starts in.
But this definately is a piece to listen to, especially if you like high action film music. Well done. |

Wow!
Glad you and Michael came here. I can finally learn how it's really done, though I'm more into the softer soundtrack pieces (Tribute) which I find easier to do.
I listen to a LOT of movie soundtracks and I can picture this one next to them.
Great mix of orchestra and synths, AMAZING realistic sound! The tension you create in this theme is great. I don't know if you have a certain scene that you made this theme for but I am clearly seeing one in my head when I listen. The structure is nothing you can comment on in this genre IMHO, it's mostly about feeling and sound. Both are perfect here. The only thing I could critizise is the e-guitar. It's no big deal but I think in the few part where you hear it it doesn't sound good enough to go along with the rest. When the notes change you can hear it's not real (I had the same problem in a song of mine) but as I said, the rest is greatly done.
Would you share with us what program/VSTs you used? That sound is amazing, though I fear soundtracks are not everyone's cup of tea at this site....

| I like Motorcycle Chase. It reminds me of the Chase in Matrix: Reloaded. It has this great feeling of tension in the middle of the action, just as it is supposed to be when watching a chase scene in the theater. |
