Very good example of studio work on the sound! It’s balanced and attractive. No boring lows and muddies mids. Everything is fine!
More than other parts of the track I like voice here. Every word is audible.
May be there is a lack of the expression in singing manner. I think it would give the track more impression. Anyway, the voice part is very professionally recorded.
Melody. It’s not so good as overall quality of the track recording. But several good (but very usual ) melody movements and repetitions save the situation.
It’s always very nice to give some inspiration to the track by adding sax line. It’s here! Nice live performance! The sax part is also the thing you will remember after listening the track. And of course you will remember the quality of the sound and … “aha” voice... can’t say it’s very suitable here but it’s the funny point you notice and remember
Thanx,
Roman

You have a new review!
OMG how many revievs!
Pop it isnt my favourite style i like more alternative songs, like anything guitars popping of RADIOHEAD .
Girl/band what a fabulous song!I realy like it.Its a sth between pop and r'n'b mood. Its a jazzy rockin stuff-im in "love" with this sexy tune.
Best things:
Composition really movin my heart, very good pop structure.Just sing this song. Its professional on all ways.Noiz dromz with r'n'b feeling.Sensual voice, nice hammonds, superb sax and all the musician side is really great.Im glad that u r such musician ppl!
Things i dont like:
Im a singer too and i dont like this scandinavian (like Ace of Base) accent. My accent is worse than that, but im amatour singer (doin' it bout 6 months) and i think you r pro in all your way.
Scratchy ending.Huh...pour scratch
Like MTV east-coast product (not my favourite).
Anyway great job.8,5/10. |

Must say i hate R&B genre. So prepare for bad review. Joke.
Very quality work. Professional vocal. I mostly like main part. Its original. Well theres nothing to write some critics about it, because there is nothing to carp. Maybe just add more emotions, passion to vocal. A little bit.
Professional work and for free. Neat!

You have a new review!
okey, this song needs a different revoew style... done
great atmo in the intro... I recognize that pad sample! Well anyway weird sfx is noice, and then the chorus makes another good thing. Shaker... weird sfx. Verse... and oh yes, vocal! Noice lyricz Virgill, und seine Frau haben eine sehr gut voice Refrain is noice, the clavinet rulz, the wah guit is noice, the sax I liek, but thing I liek most in the bridge up there is the distort wurlitzer (?) the snap needs a littel bit more reverb. Yepp, we have a pro song here. Other guyz is right, this thing I wouldn't hear on MTV everyday theyis song I liek but I find just 1 flaw... I dunno why tho... well at 2.03 the bridge... neeeds work: it's only 2 Cubase measures long I say it should be 4 Cubase measures long
well back to revoewing... tjhe part up to the ending is a part I dig... Diese Song rulez! I dunno what to say... I've wasted all the English superlatives I usually put in a revoew... the ending is original too.
If it were me, Das would've Gewinne die MakkaSymposium2002
sorry for puting some parts in German... I know I have a krappy revoew but I always make crappy revoews becouse Virgill is a great artist!

I've noticed this song has been available for well over a year now already, but all that time I haven't really had a chance to download it. So finally I've heard it now...and this sure is top-notch stuff. I'm gonna have to agree with most of the other reviewers here already, but I still have a couple of things I want to add.
First off, the intro opens up very nicely. You wouldn't really hear this sort of ambient approach to a usual R&B/Pop song, but it's what makes it so special.
It's great to hear vocals in a track produced by someone here, and they sure do have a professional sheen to them. Only problem I found, as others have said too, is that at times they're too unclear. For one, the reverb is rather excessive and pulls it towards the back of the mix. Also, there are quite a few instruments panned hard left and hard right, and it quickly distracts from the lead situated in the center. Then the other thing is compression, which should have been used more. It'd give you a more even-balanced signal that you can then bring up in volume. And then when you go to compress the final mix, the use of both short attack and release values will target the drums, leaving the vocal untouched and letting it stand out more.
But apart from the troubled vocal, this song is just about everything you'd expect from an R&B/Pop track. Very catchy melodies (particularly the chorus) and a solid, pounding rhythm atop of those great layers of synths and effects.
As I've been listening to it a few times, I actually continually fail to recognise the sax solo very well, as I just don't find it to stand out well enough. As with the vocal, I just wish it was more upfront.
But beside a couple of technical flaws, this definitely is a masterpiece. Though I'm no R&B fan, or pop for that matter, in some ways this doesn't quite sound like the rest. Very great work, and I'll be sure to check out some of the other productions too! |

This tune is absolutely classic... one of the best CTG tunes... I"ve played it so many times but I haven't reviewed it... well here goes.. The vocals were recorded great, the compression on them sounds great... there's no scary parts where she seems to sing louder or nothing like that! the sax is off the hook... and that distorted Fender Rhodes or whatever that is makes a great addition to the track. Why do I love this tune so much? cuz it's not JUST R&B... it has a lot of things in it (Smooth Jazz, electro, europop, ect) I actually can't stand most R&B, but this is great and the accent fits in quite well with the song. I don't think I've ever given a 10 to anyone before, but here it is!! |

Love the haunting start.... Shakers work well... beat is really funky.... I love this girls voice... only problem is her accent is a bit too strong... makes it a bit hard to understand... also does she say 'The music makes me wet?" I think thats a bit naighty .... he he.... but it still sounds AWESOME@!
Maybe a bit more on the chorus needs to be done... vocal wise I mean... music is great (Im a vocal person) The chorus needs to be higher or more fast paced and catchy maybe??
I hate writing reviews ... I really LOVE this song though!

Hi there!
Again some faqt stuff from you
Although, not as good as elements though, but is not far away from that..
So cool little intro with all the electronica sounds.. Lovely beat, with perfect RnB melodies.. The Saxophone is superbly done (good work viktor wagner)..
The vocals is absolutely great, very sensual and enegetic at the same time, pefect, hehe
You have lots of skills and the quality is just like any other "pro" RnB songs i have heard..Although i am not a RnB fan, i enjoyed this (so did my sister,hehe)..
Well done!
Keep up the good work!
-DeeTraxx-
ps! it was not as good as elements, so ill give this 9,5

The intro is cool and original. If I heard this playing on the radio I would think it's very good to be RnB. But on the other hand, nowadays there's just shit on the radio - not saying this is shit, though (rather the opposite.)
In a music perspective it doesn't make me feel good and/or automaticly start to think back on child hood, old friends, girlfriend-memories etc... So, believe me, I now when I hear a 10/10 song...
Maybe I'm rating this song a bit too subjective. But just because this song beats up every RnB song I've heard so far, it doesn't mean that it's better than other songs. When I review songs I review it like a piece of music and not just relating to the specific genre - that wouldn't be fair.
Still this is a flawless production, and to be a song here on CTG it stands out. So, it really deserves to be downloaded. |

I HATE R&B, like almost no other kind of music! But... This song is kindda different. This song is... beautiful. Everything seems to be perfectly done, the arrangment - great, vocals - ideal, saxo - unbeliveable... This song is just great and that's really all I can say. There's nothing really, that I can say it's wrong about it. |

I have to say I hate R&B with a passion and so I was weary about being the first person to give you a bad rating.
Well I was very pleasantly suprised and ended up having to give you a very good ratting This ain't your standard MTV garbage but a nice mix of styles and some talent behind it.
The only thing I had trouble with was I found it hard to tell what Vicky was singing because some ot the other music was too loud. Maybe some panning could correct this? |

Another great song by virgill, you have a great creativity friend, you are sure one of my favorite artist of this music scene.
This song is great, the voice of your friend Vicky Feldkötter is very good, very compliment to she.
The quality of the mastering is perfect, is the quality of an original song.
I like very much this melody and this atmosphere, the effecs are fantastic!
Very good work man.

This song would have seen charts... not as top 10 ... but it would... MAYBE( just maybe) a little to demo fell (especially the sax part )... but its certainly very very good stuff... It would be even better with a male voice(not even rappin',saying words & stuff like that) in background... and... with the pro production like that, i miss more back vocals ( there are some, but im not certain, as the singing seem to be a little pushed in the background by a little overpowered beat). The main part(chourus) should be singed choral... (IMHO) overall... top SCENE(!) R'n'B! |

Sound very pro , and is very well produced !
I agree with all other reviews except for 1 thing : It is not catchy , sound smore than a regulair track for me , and it is hart to hear what the singer is saying .... I guess she is not english ! Anyway .... pro work , but too average to be catchy !
So I don't understand that people saying "you can hit th ereal charts with this" , because for that it still lacks some stuff ... ( I know , I am a fucker when it comes to reviews .... he at least I am hounest ) |

Hm, is Virgill really Max Martin in disguise?
Anyway, I love this.. Virgill could've gone commercial and hit the real charts with this song, and I mean it!
Supreme sound-quality, breathtaking vocals (although you can hear the German accent in them) and stunning arrangement makes this one of the greatest tunes on this site (maybe the best). Grrrreeeeat stuff! |

Hello Virgill! I've been away from the Music scene for almost 5 years! I moved from Canada to Vietnam and Started a Graphic Artist studio doing print, web and items design.
I've taken on a new artist name Teroid and left Tasium behind.
Every now and then I go on the Net to see where Elements has gone... It is absolutely amazing to see it still alive and growing with many Fans enjoying the fruits of our labour!
I just want to say Thank You for the remix done so many years ago! Elements would have been lost in my Hard Drive like many other tunes created over the years.
Thanks for keeping it alive and keeping up the good work!
God Speed!
