Sir Virgill,
Ah so nice my friend, this song has such a funky groove. It really tackles you and drives a person to really throw his/her legs around in a breakdancing fashion.
I definitely feel a bind through this song, a fusion of funk throughout all the music infused continents all over the world. This song brings it together.
Such ear pleasing effects, complimented by smooth vocal insertion. Altogether mixed to create a solid jazz-funk-upbeat track. I really enjoy the layout my friend, very impressive workings!!
Excellent works! Keep grooving.....! |

This is a real peach....raw, fat funk wrapped up in an extremely professional package.
All the right bits are there - from the kinky seventies flute,"jacket pocket" wah-wah guitar, and to the filthy hammond and tasty bass.
Regarding the vocals, I like ALL of them. The womens voice, I find is particularly effective.
Its all there, dude! Heh! Heh! Just how it ought to be.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - this is worth a 10.0 anyday of the week, and twice on Sundays.
Funk power, yeah baby!
Congratulations, you have been awarded the Lord Wallace Cup of Greatness.

brass (1:04) good job too .
I like voice of singer, he has realy good voice.
Sound of drums: Beautiful done (very realistic), bass is nice ,it gives energy.
This song is almost ideal!
I dont like one thing: womans vocal. her voice is beautiful but text is too simple for me.

PHAT! the phatness is good. The delicious-gorgeous crispness - in there. I'm THERE when i listen to this. The flute is smooth! Nice blending on all of the parts! The vocals are fun too. The sax jam is rich - and fresh. And the bass is "doin' it right!" - i do feel that the electric guitar solo is ok - mainly i would have used a more jazz-like overdrive/saturation as opposed to the more edgy grind that is applied. But the track is cool - it just MOVES! |

Well since I'm going along the charts and reviewing the top songs, I never know what type of song I'm going to get next! Here we go:
Excellent drums. Perfectly realistic and nice feel to the rest of the song.
I actually enjoy quite a few jazz pieces since I'm an all-around music guy, and this is is a great production in that respect!
Vocals! Yes!
Wow, extremely professional, and the vocals are absolutely PERFECT!
I'll be sending this along to the rest of my jazz friends, they'll enjoy this piece!
Elec. guitar, very nice solo and sound.
9.5. Superb. |

Excelnt work!
Very original composition and arrangement.
perfect loops and samples. Drums are just super.
Vocals are good. I like mostly the *jazzy* elemnts!
Well done! Profesional work. Professional sound and mastering. The brasses are awesome. And the fuky quitar gives power to the tune.
Perfect acid-jazz and groove feeling in melody.
The FX are very good balanced to music.

okay since i find this song very original of its kind with that typical virgill sound im going 2 review this....
i like the catchy intro with those nice fx that fits in this track....
one thing that blows you away (positive description) is the fluit that is really powerfull on its own way...(like i said in my comment it could be used for a commercial) coca cola or something haha...
i really like the guitar that is banging on this track....really gives this song an sweeping vibe...
on thing that i would like is that the voice could have said some more words but thats 2 me a minor thing.....
i like the part when the voice is singin (mans voice)
realy gives this song the power what it needs...
another thing that i liked is the trompet that fills this song @ the right moment....
1.36 this transition to the trompet is somehing that i dont find that good...
anyway virgill this is besides those negative points a masterpeace of its kind...
good job m8 !!!!!

Really, really good stuff! I loved the funky groove of this tune a lot. The slap bass sounds great, it could have been used a bit more in my opinion. This is true summer music, creating a nice and warm feeling as I listen to it. The drums sound a bit electric, I would have preferred a slightly more organic approach. The brass instruments add a really nice touch to the song. Very close to a 10. Thumbs up! |

When I heard this tune first, I rushed to the site to review it, but then stopped 'cause words failed me.
Now I think I'm ready.
This is a funky acid jazz tune with excellent melodies, atmosphere, vocals, production and stuff. I want to be literally understood - this is a fully professional release. Fully professional. 100% pro. 200%. 1000%.
The guitar theme is impressive. I waited it to be more emotional, like go higher a little.
Drums rule.
If you want to know why I gave this tune such a rating, download it and see for yourself. |

Very impressive, Virgill.. this reminds me sometimes of the norwegian band Big Bang .. Yet this has some really unique to it. Groovy, funky, excellent production. I find it really attractive .. Get yourself out of here and start tricking around with record companies and labels... *give a hug* |

this song represents a great production quality, some impressive vocallines and great backrounds, but what i don't like in this one are the solos. especially the guitarsolo, which doesn't do justice for the rest of the song. the solo doesn't really fit in the spot where it is now either. the brasssolo is also pretty dull. of course the sound is very nice, being a brass and all but the solo sounds like it's been made in 1 minute. or maybe totally improvised, first take shot or so. and even this solo doesn't fit in the spot where it is now imho. one more thing to nag about is the bass. would've been way more effective if it was a bit more complicated. of course minimalism can have a totally positive effect in music, but in this one it won't do justice at all.
despite all the negative stuff i just said above this song is trully skillfully made and the quality is simply perfect. i also like the vocals a lot. that flute in the beginning is also splendid and who could resist a friendly sound of wahwah. i'd like to remix this song. |
