Hey there...sv here...

I think of course everyone has heard this at least once in their life.

Intro:
The bells were cool, I really like the fact that you kept the christmas theme well in mind and this is definitely the reason why there's bells as an intro along. I also noticed the trumpet (?)..It has a pretty nice flow and the little things that are panning in the back sound pretty nice. The scratches give it a upbeat. However, I didn't find it as interesting as possibly some might find, to me it's generic, but ok 6

Beats/Drums:
Good drums on this, really makes the track nice and funky with the nice breakbeat-like sounds and nice bass drum, I also hear what seems some fast snare-like programming, which gives the track an extra edgy sound. a bit muffled (i think) you could probably benefit from some EQ on the highs. I really liked the drums just needs some eq and possibly some compression, 7.5

MainMelody Section:
Now comes a guitar emulation instrument which was a bit surprising to hear and I think that really gave the track sme extra interest, I believe the intention was to simply add it as a solo as it didn't really last to long and then the track ends. I believe this was the best section, it gave it a nice variation and cool touch. 8

Outro:
None was present in this track. After the guitar like synth, it just quickly fades out,..which was ok, but felt like the track had no way to end properly, especially the styly of track you are creating. 5

Technically:
A good mastering is needed. I felt all the instruments were pretty well balanced, just some muffled and other a bit loud, the bells for example really dominated the mix, which i think should have been less dominating and bit more subtle. 7

Hey there! http://www.nd-music.com/gfx/pics/hello.gif

Really really nice choice to remix this one  Didn't realize until now what a nice happy jolly melodie this track has. Works great being played by Christmassy bells  And it's a loooooooooooooot less annoying without Aqua'a vocals

Now this track started reaaaally promising with those beautiful bells and a nice delay on them. And together with that little synth in the background... just perfect. Unfortunately the drums that enter at 0:21 sound really lofi and together with the bassline pretty muddy  Perhaps there would have been better samples which would have fit in better with the bells.

However, I must say you also introduced some pretty cool sounds to make up for that later on. Like that steel drum like synth at 1:03. I really like how all those different melodies play together in this track, not only at this part but also at 2:04 for example

Besides that steel drum synth I also liked the synth e-guitar sound  Even though it caught me a little off guard I must say I like it. But it would be a lot more effective if it didn't play as many notes but longer ones instead. What if you just switched the e-guitar melody with the bell melody in this part? The e-guitar would seem a lot more calm and would still stand out enough while the bells could support it with the melody which the guitar is playing now.

In the end I'm left with some things I really like and some things I really don't like :col: Let's start with the pros coz there are more of them than flaws. As I said, I love the bells :lovemusic: The melodies work just great this way and the little decent synths in the background support it very nicely  Also that steel drum like sound is awesome and the melodies it plays are great too (like I mentioned the great work at 1:03). Now I have to get to the things I didn't like which are only few but kinda significant for the overall sound. I'm mostly talking about the drums, in this case kick and snare, which sound weak and flat, just too lofi to fit in with the nice and clean bells and other synths. The reason why this spoils the fun a little for me is because this way you don't have that nice round overall sound. Instead I'm listening and thinking: The arrangement is great, the melodies are great, the synth also... but the drums don't belong there. :col: So, try to get a nice and full kick sample and a more distinctive snare and there you go  And as I said before, another thing I didn't like was that the guitar was playing too hectically and didn't seem to come to rest. It's a shame coz that sound is somehow weird but also really calm and should be playing a melody with less notes

Enough :blah: for now. I really like this entry. Good choice of the track and you turned it into a nice holiday hymn  6,75 points from me :bravo:
