Wow! This song is amazing!
It starts out with a nice chord and a fluit sample... and builds up to a refrain with an accordian and experimental drums. I don't find that a flaw Then I listen until the end... it's agreat song... keeps the listener relaxed, interested...
Btw I've checked the stats in IT u use 64 channels with 97 orders.
The final analysis
arrangement 10/10
bass 9/10
beat 9.5/10
creativity 10/10
drums 9.5/10
feeling 10/10
melody 10/10
samples 9/10
skills 10/10
sound 10/10
structure 10/10
quality 10/10
How I would improve

Paaang!I think U know whats that. Its just delivery.
I searched celtic tracks at ctg and that one was high rated. It was point of my searching.High rates and celtic tracks...
Im not a big fan of any celtic music, but sometimes I love to hear any folk stuff. This one is pretty cool, indeed.Done on tracker-thats really hard to do.Im not a profesor this kind of tunes so watch out for my reviev I love all the melodies and celtic feeling. Its very positive and scottish song.Thats the point of my high rate-I think celtics have to be reflective and positive, indeed. All the instruments r done well, with it high standard. Its big plus for me BTW-I love Avatar picture of this song. |

I really love the introduction, very soft and gentle, lets me dream till it drops a beat in second 1:08 min. I like the beat and the melodies played. I love that "accordion". Makes it sound very irish.
The recording has a great quality.
I love the changes within melodies, it´s not boring at all.
Creativity:9/10
Recording: 10/10

My favourite styles are ambient, fantasy and celtic. This song is an excellent example of a celtic one. Melody and rhythm are very nice. Most original effects are used. The quality of instruments and samples is very good. Waylands is what I call a perfect song. Go on in this way. |

One of my all-time favourites, after Warder's celtic songs . Melodies and harmonies are excellent. There's maybe too much non-melodic harmony but it doesn't necessarily harm the song. The drums are a little bit weird for a celtic song but I'm not sure if it's good or bad. BTW I learned to play a part with piano some years ago and also taught it to my little brother . |

Let's start!
Good instruments, but some of them suffer of lack of quality...however, overall quality is high.
The mix is perfect, the arrangement well made, the melody is original, and i like very much the slow harp part!
Good as a soundtrack, the only things that would be improved are the samples, specially the one of the harmonica, that sounds too "synthetic" for a celtic piece! In my opinion, obviously...!
Good work! I'm gonna put it a 8.5! |

Well, actually together with "Approach" this is my favourite of Nightbeat's tracks. Opposite to "Approach" which caught with its melody, this track catches with its atmosphere. So mysterious, the style is very recognizible, many other tracks of this artists resemble this one (e.g. The Flight of the Kingfisher or Motion), but Waylands is a cornerstone among the tracks of this kind. Great job. Great sound taking into consideration WHEN it was made and WHAT WITH. |
