Artist Comment:
This is my first song here, and I hope you guys like it. Im producing songs for about 2 years now and this is the result of those years of getting used to all the software. I recorded a sax solo from the Chillout Sessions on "Ministry of Sound Radio". The quality of that sax solo isn't very good, because of the 96 kbps radio stream they offered. I builded my own song around it, including acoustic guitar play and many more chillout sounds. Enjoy it!

hi Frankdj
Really like this track man
nice song structure
definately a chiller makes me feel relaxed listening to this music
your use of sounds is perfect i really love the sax part ,
you have built a good complement of parts around it, it all fits together perfect
their are eq issues but im sure this has been mentioned before .maybe the mix is to try and complement the sax.
bass is very good but simple nothing fancy here
drum sounds are good mixed well within track
guitar and synth sounds all mesh together its quite hard to seperate them
the overall atmosphere created is relaxing
good production

I listen to this song wright now and I think that is good, maybe not perfect but I enjoy it.
Pads in the begining (choir) - they sound litle to short, maybe delay wil help or some reverb .
The soul of that mp3 is sax - not your sax :( but there are many instruments for example guitar which is nice too :)
Percussion - yes this section is make verry professional.
My feelings when this song is over are to make play this tune once again. Yes I like it.

thiissssssssss is some really godd deep shit.. sad, that saxo isn't yours.. but that is no big deal i think, because atmosphere u create here is awesome, so much ballearic, so ibiza, so chillout..
i like the live drum snare samples, the kick. godd tune quality..

Guitar-greatest one.I really love it!

Sax-cool melodies. This one sounds real and close to perfect.

Bass-simple bass line, seems to be great!

Synths,pads,pianos-WoW.Im impressed about these backgrounding sounds.Marvelous!

The start is very random... no silence at the beggining it just kind of starts. The strings are odd, sounding like elevator music. Its not too lo-fi, I dont see why people say its lo-fi though. Most of the stuff has a decent sound quality too it. It would have been better if it was original. The whole melody scheme is a tad cheesy in my opinion. I guess it would sound nice at the end of a movie or something. I cant really hear the acoustic guitar over all the other stuff, things get a little cluttered towards the middle/end. The end is random and fades out, its not quite a full track then? Not my kind of stuff. No biased review though, make the start more powerful than just drums and the voice all of a sudden, and its odd that it fades out, most tracks dont do that now-days, seems out of date. And it would be better if it was an original song.

Original song! You need a lot of imagination to build such a track around those sax solos! I'm impressed.
-what I loved-
The build up is gorgeous! the way the strings, drums and other stuff add up, as the melody progresses, each time adding more emotion! You used simple chords, but they are so effective! The piano phrases, so simple, lead the track into something emotional and complex... Very nice, and simply beautiful. You want to listen to this track for like 100 times!
-what I didn't like-
nothing ;) Everything is cool, really.

-in conclusion-
It ain't chillout, it's pop. pure american pop. the quality reminds of radio broadcast, but it doesn't spoil the effect, perhaps only adds charm. Great track indeed, wonderful work, superb impressions. Stay cool!

Hey FrankieDJ, ook hier!

The review:
Quite daring to use this kind of lofi sound in your track... It kinda breathes atmosphere, which I always like in a track. A thing that's too bad is that the pads have a very short release... It kinda chops off at the switch of notes. The piano's used nicely here.

But apart from that, excellent track here! Love it...!

Such a lovely track, but it has some serious EQ issues. :(
Drop me a PM if you'd like to get in touch about it, and I could send you a EQ'ed version etc.

This one totally deserved kicked butt in the daily compo :bravo: If everything was high quality (mainly cymbals and sax) I could probably go for a 9,5 or something  Actually I kinda wished that you also arranged the saxophone coz it really rocks :ye: Everything else rocks also so I can still safely say: Great work! :hail:
