It's my remix of Tiesto's amazing song "Forever Today", but originally it's Terminator theme with some changes.. enjoy! |

I like the idea that you came up with the idea of mixing the Terminator theme with an amzing Tiesto Trance track such as this one. I find that rather amzing IMHO. But, however the whole T2 theme is a bit over-played.
I really loved the beat you added. The samples are nicely done and polished however, the song does seem to contine on with the same patterns, samples, and breaks throughout.
Perhaps you can change the tone and pitch of the melody and that should lighted it up a bit.
Also, a breakbeat when you break off the beat would make a bit more exciting. But for the rest of the song, it is amazing and creative. I look forward to hearing more epic songs from you Mr Cube. |

I really enjoyed this song. I liked the synths you used, they have just the right amount of harshness to them. A lot of trance songs use synths that are way too sharp and harsh (in my opinion at least). The drums were nothing amazing, but fit in the song very well. The structure wasn't overly simple, and the song progressed along at a fair pace. No parts were too long or too short.
For some constructive criticism I though the song could have been fuller at parts. I'd say that you could have added a lead part when the drums come in, to get some more highs in.
Great job! |

I can't quite figure out why many seem to make a big deal out of this song but I have to say it isn't bad considering I've heard the Terminator theme several times. lol. One thing that I liked about it is that the beat mixes in pretty well with the samples. To me, this is what kept the song going is the beat. In the middle of the track somewhere the beat stops and this didn't get me too suprised. Something about that part just didn't sound good. To me it would have sounded better if the beat would have been going on instead of it playing the Terminator theme scratched out. Would have been better with the Terminator theme going with a nice, strong beat imo. After the song resumes, it does the same thing in it's own way. I guess you could say it was fairly repetitve. Good song, would have been better if it was not as long or at least did something more other than going with a beat then stopping then going doing the same thing. Gonna give it an eight. I can't say it's a bad one. Just seems too over rated here on CTG. |

The intro makes you want to hear more. The song progresses nice and gets the kick under it and finally gots some emotion with pads.
Very well mastered.
This is a piece of production at its finest!
The synths sounded original but still unique. The pads were beautiful! Makes me wonder how did you make them.
The panning and the lead to the main synth was something spectacular!
The beat was awesome! Only complain is that the hat sounded a bit too loud (Open Hi-hat). The kick matched very well with the rest of the drums and the bass synth.
The bass could be a bit louder or recognizable to make the song perfect.
The song ends nicely and makes you a feeling that you want to listen it again!

After hearing this song many times, I have finnaly figured it's about time for a precious review for a precious song. When I pressed the play button on Windows Media Player, I heard the hi tech beat and new this was going to be great. The beat sounds like a beat DJ Tiesto would approve and would love. I heard the song many times and never got tired of. I couldn't help not pressing "Review this song".
The song sounded so pro. and (I don't know what to say) enough I loved it. As soon as that beat stopped the Terminator theme came in, it sounded simply amazing. Those pianos were lovely, and as the song started to progress, it sounded even more alive than before! Then the beat starts creating a lovely new generation Trance music sound!
Before long, the song ended. It's so hard for me to believe it was on 7 and a half minutes. Time goes by fast when you having fun listening to an excellent Trance song. We should see more of these. Just simply amazing!
Great song! I am going to decide to give a 100% for the greatness. That's a 10 out of a max of 10! Just simply remarkable! |

This is a great track indeed. Everything about it is well done. I have not heard the original version of this song, but now I think I would like to. The beat is great. Just perfect. I was listening to Tiesto song, Adagio For Strings, and the beats are the same. Anyway, here goes... The song starts out with a beat and some great sound electronic samples. Those are the main ones. The melody and the sound of them are great. The beat stops and a piano version of Terminator starts. After a while of that, the beat starts. Them a a good mix of both songs come in. Awesome mixing. As it kind of ends, the calms down a bit. The beat stops and the Terminator piano comes in. Then the song basicly finishes off... Great song. Just perfect. The beat is the best, and the samples overall really suprised me. I didn't quite expect anything like this. Great stuff indeed! Since this song was just perfect for me, I don't think there is a need for a common words review. I'm just going to give it an automatic 10! 10.00/10.00! PERFECT job dude!

This is most amazing song what I heard from czech producer. Your skill is on top rank and I wait for official album...return to composition of this track:
Absolutely I have not any reservations, maybe only a little bit of originality. Song is very resemble to original version from tiesto...however It's only detail!
The drums are chosen well so surely look like samples. Melody is wonderfull, sounds good, creativity best...I have not words, I can't which more say
Amazing, best, wonderfull!
Structure - 10
Melody - 10
Mastering - 10
Originality - 8
Quality - 10
I'm enjoying to new composition! Respect

Nice remix - I also like the original though. This is going on my iPod though!
Great overall sound, I love your use of transition effects - awesome reverb. I think throughout the song, the theme is very much prevalent - so it makes it a little bit monotone - but that's just the song as a whole...
Other than that, your beats - I like the closed hi-hat thing you have going... but I think it's too simple, you might wanna get drum sounds that are closer to the genre. More ambiental trancey drum beats as opposed to mainstream techno beats.
Awesome piece, will be looking to hear more! |

Overall:
Structure: 8
Sounds: 7
Feeling: 7
Melody: 7
The startup sounds nice. Some vocals would have fit in this part but ok so far. The beat is in my taste but some sound aren't so good i think. Melody is ok but not really my kind so much. Structure is fine. Mixing is ok but maybe a little more pure song wouldn't hurt.
Nice overall but i've heard better songs. Still nice for an anthem for a club play or something like that. I'm not a big tiesto fan so i suppose thats why this remix didn't sound so good as i though. But you've got talent to make similar kind of songs in the future. Nice! |

Before I start I would like to say that I am a big Tiesto fan and I love Forever Today as it appeared on both Just Be and Parade.
As some of the other reviewers said, you must be brave to tamper with a classic. But congratulations! Job well done. I love it. Great version.
The piano is a nice addition and works nicely with the synths and strings. I'd love to hear a version with a full string section/orchestra inserted before the breakdown finishes and a reintroduction of the piano during the last part of the track. But that's just me.
On the whole the tune deserves its number 1 status and I'll be giving it full marks.

a great song. I like the intro of the song.
the bass were perfectly settled and the melody was awsome.
skills are shown within the song and the sample fit wih the melody.
The sound quality is okay and you have the trance feeling in this song.
I like it very much. maybe you should get more fx in this song so it will be more complicated.
this song has the special characteristic if you compare with the other trance song
the intro was soft enough comparewith others.
I think this is the best trance music I've ever heard.
the final score 8.0/10 |

i like the soft intro introducing a bit of the melody.
the percussion that you bring in after a short while sounds nice and good mastered. the melody is a bit too low on the velocity imo.
after the percussion drops for a bit and then suddenly returns, thats just not what i would do. doesnt sound nice to me.
and then the piano.
damn that sounds great. the melody is fucking awesome but i guess that was in the original aswell so thats really not that special.
you sure picked your instruments well though. the trance pad that supports the piano and overpowers it sounds great.
i like the way it transformed into some sort of synth ( dont know how to say it in english )
like the buildup very much. the part where the melody and other instruments kick in sounds powerfull and feels satisfiying.
percussion is a bit like the intro ( so its not bad ).
the vocal is a bit weak. i would like ( mainly because i am a hardstyler )a more graspy powerfull vocal.
i like this track alot. i had it a long time on my mp3 but i finally reviewed it. |

Hey, this one is perfect! - This is the first thought which spawned in my mind when this masterpiece went off (and I recalled the original, btw).
As well asMysteryland, this tune is warm and just begs to be played on a sunny beach.
Once I've said it's perfect, now I cna only repeat it till I drop. So, technique is too good to care about it. Atmosphere is as I've mentioned above. originality - well, that's kinda different from the original mix, so can be desribed as originial (hope somebody would understand me ). Of course the melody is outstanding, as every one created by Tiesto. Is there anything missing? Is there some purpose not to give you 10? I don't see.
Congratulations , |

Tiesto in my eyes is one of the greatest dance producers of our time if not the very best. His style is beyond any other and Dj Cube has done a brilliant job recreating what is Tiesto, creating deep, progressive emotion to hard energetic leads hes done it all. For anybody to dare remix anything from a true tallent as this is daring enough in itself.
Dj Cube has done a great job with this, the quality of the production is flawless, i love the swinged hats and everything that surounds them. theres atmosphere here and tons of it, the fills link nicely and keep the track driving along with the arp its a perfect remix. The break is nicely done with a great sounding piano, theres some good LFO work here that doesent sound out of place at all. Some great use of Fx and some vocal never go a miss and is done to perfection, all in all a great quality and well compressed track.
A great job, regards Chenlab |

Nice job with that tight and balanced basdrum and bassline! First reason to like this song is the fact that the melody is really asskicking. Secondly, sounds are nice, little room for improvements. Could have been a bit more wide and full on some places, though. Transition in 3:00 is really nice but I just don't like the way to construct the melody with fast tremolo (I think it was same kind of thing in original, too). It just poisons a bit the smooth flow of song and it sounds a lot better when sequenced as it starts ~4:50.
This doesn't bring anything amazing new compared to the original, but as long as melodies are catchy and overall mixing is ok and sounds are good enough, you enjoy it. |

The track is absolutely amazing, I love the synthlines, the strings, and the melody. The variations are also pretty good. In my opinion what this track is missing is sfx, and some twists in the basslines to make it more creative because the percussion is like almost every trance track you hear. Good choice on the samples, the sound quality is awesome!
Keep it up |

After seeing it so high on the charts, i had to take a peek...
I see that u founded this track mainly on synths. Percussion programming isn't much, kick is too soft, and other samples sound too standard and are pretty basic, nothing inventive there, but ok, they hold a water... Let's focus on synths, structure and other...
Intro is made ok, synth is a little too thin, and following structure reminds me more on dance. But I lost that feeling pretty quick.
The breakdown has all the needed ingredients, pads could sound better but they are ok, piano melody is nice too. What i like very very much is the sizzling synth that speeds up like a rotor!
I expected the main part to be more energetic, but there is kinda...Well almost relaxing feel to it. Another break, very similar to the first, and another main part, with a quick outro.
Hmmm... Ok it's over. What should i think?
Firstly, I'm dissapointed. I like Forever Today very much, so it was really hard to remix such a huge track. But u put an effort to it, so if I'm not comparing to the original, this is rather average trance track. If i compare the remix, it just won't be satisfying enough.
So, the rating... Hm... I think 10 and 8 are overated, coz here is nothing new, and u didnt write the melodies. Only thing which amazed me is that twirling synth! So beetween 6 and 7... 6.5
Honestly i can't see how this made to the 1st position on the charts. I hope ur other tracks are better.
I'm sorry for my brutal review

Reading everyone's comments and reviews, im looking forward to reviewing this track becuase the hype its had..lets hpoe it lives up to the expectation!
The intro is ok i suppose, but that synth soudn in the begging could be more 'trancey' but that just imo. drums are average for the the trance sound, the usual every 4 hi hats etc, nothign special there.
The breakdown isnt anything special either, althoght the piano is quite nice, but this track is still feeling a bit more dance than trance imo.
With the introduction of the stuttering melodie and sweeping pads, things are picking up, and im feeling alittle more trancey than dance here, which is great.
The introduction of the kick with the melodie is a nice touch, gibign some power to the track.
The break is alittle dissapoitning imo, the drums are jus so 'normal' and the melodiefar exceeds them tbh.
Antoher break down, similar to the first, again with the nice melodies and strings, nice.
And its its over!
Well my over opinion is that its ans average trance remix, that sadly isnt as good as the original, but not a bad effort imo, im sure this will please many, keep up the good work!

ping! whoo yeah!
Oh man... this song PWNS!!! I must have listened to it ~8 times in the last week
Excellent intro, around :35 some sort of stero panning on those hihats, it's a really nice widening effect. Makes it sound like you're surrounded with sound. Amazing how you can keep the same riff going for nearly two minutes, but somehow you keep it amazingly interesting by varying the drumbeats.
1:57, the main riff of the song, a simply amazing piano riff backed by rising strings. Words just can't describe how it makes me feel 2:40, rising synth, leading into an AMAZING TRASITION at 2:58 with the swirly synths, which leads into the same riff played by the synth. Sounds incredibly melodic.
4:10, those wonderful hihats come back in, along with the drumbeat... everything stays the same, but it still sounds incredibly fresh. 4:40, slight break here, bd/clap drum pattern still going on, hihats rejoin around 4:52.
5:12, basicly the same thing at 2:00, only without the piano backing. 5:43, same synth launches into main riff sounding as clean and fresh as ever 6:18, we finally get back to the intro synth, and a fairly standard breakdown follows.
Oh man, where to start... piano sounds lovely, synths are heavnly, basicly everything in this song is perfect!
The only possible improvement... the piano only plays once. IMHO it just sounds too pretty to only have one part in the song
To wrap up this glowing review... a perfect 10.0 rating I honestly do not think I've heard a nicer song here on ctg, 'cept perhaps a few of the melodic trance songs that hit #1 in the past.
Cheers |

Review time!
Before I begin you should know that I own both 'Just Be' and 'Parade of the Athletes' so I am familiar with two versions of Tiesto's Forever Today. I prefer the 'Just Be' version as it has the whole epic intro(I love epic intros! ) to it. I downloaded your song a little while ago and I've listened to it twice, and relistend to both of the versions mentioned above. I should admit that I prefer Tiesto's work from before he started becoming DJ of the Year 2003 and 2004, due to some of his excellent work from the early In Search of Sunrise cd's....but Forever Today is kind of a blend between that era and what he seems to be producing nowadays. I like the song...and I like your remix of the song....which is the point! Now to the real review.
From the first time I listened to Forever Today, I wondered where I had heard the theme from before? So it was from Terminator? Huh....didn't know that. Cool though! Like the theme...I had thought it was from Rambo First Blood but anyways...
The intro feels slightly darker than either of Tiesto's versions were. Maybe it was intended...maybe it wasn't I don't know...but it's a nice effect. The loop used isn't quite smooth as I can hear it stop and start for a a third of a second at the conclusion of the loop. It's not a biggie..so it doesn't really interfere with the rest of the intro at all. The beats and background atmosphere are good.
The choice of using the Piano was a good one! Maybe Tiesto released a single or another version somewhere with the Piano...but if not I applaud your choice here. It enhances the song in my opinion. He always has a knack for creating atmosphere and I always wonder why he never uses piano too much. Too Robert Miles maybe? Who knows but I'm glad you chose to.
The main Forever Today theme is good of course(why I like the song afterall), but the wavy sound is a little distracting I think. It's a great theme, but I'm not sure what your intention is in using this form of it.
I like the slight change of pace(Tiesto did the same thing but it's still good) at the 4:40 mark. It's really cool and compliments the song well. I hear the piano coming back. Did I mention that I like the choice of piano? Feeling very dramatic now, the piano was just a tease!, but the airy atmosphere now is very very well done. It sounds like an Ibiza version around here. All I need is some 'Woooo' 'Tiestooooo!' and other such live sounds lol.
The electronic wave sounds that I mentioned don't sit well with me, but that's probobly more personal taste than any flaw on your part. Don't worry too much about it.
The only real thing that concerns me here DJ Cube? Besides changing things around a bit to the piano and other sounds...it's very very similar to Tiesto's version from 'Parade' and 'Just Be'. As I listen to the various version there are differences, but between the three of them they are so minor that the atmosphere is the same and the intent behind Tiesto's production thus also stays the same. What was your intention behind this remix? I hear a slightly darker edge in the intro...but beyond that I wonder if this was a favorite song of yours that you chose to add a personal touch to?
I like this version, but I'm not sure if it's not because I like everything that Tiesto had already done. Despite this one knock, I'm going to give you an 8 because I can hear the work put into finding the right changes that keep things true to the originals, but different enough that listeners like me can say 'Hey, with the Piano and all...this is pretty good!'.
I hope this helps you out! 8 rating for you. |

| Original is much more better than this one. Intro is okay, a little boring though. Piano melody is my favorite part in the song. The main part could probably be more energetic. I'd like to rate your song a higher rating but I've got to stick with a 6/10. While I see the original Forever Today as 'highway/racing/club' music, I see your version as a more of a 'ravey' type of song. The song just didn't live up to my expectations. |

| Nice mix. I would try to bring forth some variations of the tune. Embellish some parts and maybe have another area of calmness. Overall, like the tune. Good choice. 7/10 |

Pretty nice work. Really i cant say much about this track, because i havent heard the original piece but this
works for me just fine. I have a little addiction to piano so maybe that lifts
my rating for this.. but anyway..keep on producing |

not as good as the original mix, but very good, and worth a congratulations on the good effort! I love the emotion in this song and the transitions from a more mellow, soothing sound into the hard-driving rhythm and melody that makes up the chorus.
Great job overall, got a spot on my favourites list! |

thanks Tano - I'm glad you like it... but with taging of the track you're wrong - that's standard way of taging "original artist - song (edit/remixer)... |

| really nice remix , but the only thing that is bothering me is:Why on the place of the artist you put dj tiesto? like that it's sound like he made a remix of your track |

| Tiesto is an amazing man... and this here is wonderful remix of one of his greatest works =O honestly. this track has that relaxing atmosphere though around 7:25 i thought it was gonna get really loud and powerfully overwelming xD i was sorta dissapointed but it did send some tingles down my spine at some points. very relaxing though =3 love it lots. |

Yeah, this sounds nice. Climax is totally not there though, no energy, no goosebumps. I enjoyed the break the most of the song. Not to mention it practicly adds nothing new to the original, you might need to work on that.
Other then that it's quite ok |

DJ Cube [4th. August 17:22] ![[213.29.26.86]](pics/ip.gif)
Ok - first of all thanks you both - I'm new member of CTG comunity - but I now that general charts are about popularity and not about quality - but sometimes popularity means quality as well... I think that some Tiesto's songs are good as Queens best hits (rather not compare queens & trance ), but it's Tiesto's work and not mine - only my vision.. and some people like ti no one remix deserves best mark -that's my opinion... but thanks anyway

Analysis [4th. August 11:35] ![[62.58.116.36]](pics/ip.gif)
When I noticed this song in the top of the charts, I was immidiatly sceptical. CTG has suffered from bad music on the top, pretty much, because 'big' names like 'nu-NRG, O-zone and Tiesto' get downloaded more often then our 'normal' music.
In the end, I have to say, that this song wasn't that bad at all. The piano's are a very good choise indeed and the quality of the song isn't bad at all. I disagree that this song deserves a 10. Nowadays everyone gives away 10's for no reason, while a 10 is supposed to mean that this is as good as queens bests hits. But this song isn't bad at all. I'd say, 8-8.5 or something. |

Tinaz [3rd. August 11:24] ![[62.45.245.133]](pics/ip.gif)
| well, i like this song very much... and as hawkeye says, the piano is so brilliant. A waste that it's only 1 time in the song i would give it an 8,5. With the piano part more 9-9,5 |

Zanzibar: thanks - i love that review yes and no - it's not my favourite song (maybe one of my favourite) but that melody is amazing and with piano sounds really good and this thing was the real intention next to adding personal touch and fun of course (i've no money of it)... I've my remix with Tiestos epic intro - but one word "copyright"... im glad you like it... thx again |
