This track i made just today.Actualy i started at midnight yestrday when i wrote the melodie and then at midnight today i made everything else  Hehe i think this timing really is good for me to compose ;) .

The song is something you cant really expect from me since it isnt really a trance track (maybe just a bit influenced in the synth sound) it is morelikey an ambiental track made for you to relax after a hard day. :coffee:

It is quite simple since i didnt really went into details but i like it anyway and i hope you will to. :reasonguy:

hey! i just found your track in my downloads dir!
this is very nice...
the synths sound very profi, and i especially like the sub sonar! :)
the beat is solid and very well programmed, nice usage of unholy instr. like the castagnets :D

it sounds somewhat strange the scale change before the acc synths come... it sounds empty..
anyways, when the synth come it reminds me of what *someone* said reviewing one of my tracks: "the song shows the main chorus without the main synths just in the first 30seconds..."
i guess we all do that...
i like the theme bells or what are there and the reverb and multitap delay sounds very very profi and at its place here....
then i recognize the tamburine... i like that sample alot! :)

what i miss is a bass instrument, on this beat alot of grooves could be built...
in general one good track.. among my favs here at ctg i may say...

cheers!

Very nice. Lots of depth (maybe from all the reverb??!) lol But very nice percussion. Very rich, complex and very very smooth.

The synths work very well and create a very cool atmosphere. Very chilling and vast. Really like this. Now at 2:40 I didnt expect this... same melody but new instruments. I like it but I think it needs some dynamics, some echo. It sounds too mechanical IMO. Very nice transition back into the percussion and bass. Very original clean sound (yet it has become quite repetitive.) I would like to hear the (kalimba??) drop to play some harmony when the synth comes back in... would sound much better than them playing unison. The melody is nice but it has gotten repetitive by this point and something new (harmony) would really add much.

Overall I have to say I really like this track. Truly an amazing track. I love the sound we hear twice (once at :31) tha brings in the percussion, but I would like to hear some heavy, harcore bassline similiar to this. This is the one thing I think the track is missing, a bassline. The acid stuff is nice but doesnt drive my sub the way it should.

Keep up the great work Ace!

well here's a good fill up track for your album ;) the quality is really good. and the breakbeat is ok, for my taste it could have had more tricks fills and breaks and so on.. i like the main melody sound, it's great.. and the melody is ok too. add few more tricks here, more hooks, maybe catchier melody and it's perfect.. although it's a really good song now too :)

This track's best quality is the excellent use of sounds. Electronic sounds are organized in a very interesting way, so I must say that timbre (sound colour) has been handled in a masterful way here. The long intro (about 1:00) is great. Then the melody is introduced and repeated lots of times with many sound variations. Now, the good part is that the song's not boring although it repeats the same melody over and over again. That's because of the remarkable work with sound color. The bad thing, is that if acecream had put some more effort in making more melodies, organizing a good structure, making a more complex piece, we would have a great piece of music. This is good, but why not using those great sound organizing skills to make something better? It's hard work, but I'm sure the results would be great. I know trance artists have a tendency to make repetitive tunes, but why not chage? Making good structures is very hard, but it's worth the effort.

Very good song Ace! I like it very much, is very original and out of your style of music, but is good. Yes, is too simple in some parts but i like the particular songs and this is pretty nice. The main melody is simple and soft but is great. Nice effects in backround for a great atmosphere with a very good sound quality and a excellent drum part. Nice work. ;)

Hey :) ,

Nice sound, and a style i've never heard from you, i love that submarine sound, the melody at first i didnt like, but then everything comes together into a wicked sounds, just love that synth raisin' at 1:20 sec of the track, then the bells come in flow with the tune, bassline synth is cool, instruments flow good, but to me sound a bit to high, maybe its me :)

The arrangment is excellent man just like all your tracks, the track has much feelin in it at about 4:35sec i think it sounds the best, but the bad thing is the beat cuts off, and soon after that, the track is startin' to end, maybe wanna extend it ?

Overall a wicked track to chill to, somehow has a dark feelin as well, but a cool , any ways i love it !

Hey, this is something!!! Maaan, first impressions were really cool and lasted thru whole piece. Dark, atmospheric.....Evokes about good old Das Boot ( no it's not the sonarsound, it's the melodies itself) Something like Sven Väth's products spiced with Ace's own soundscape. One of your top three song, definitely.
As usual, technical side is 100% controlled, all sounds are just in places, just in time;) I hear you find the Screaming 4 too, it's really impressive how you work with it.
- Seems that my opinion is bit out from others, but I don't mind. Just enjoying the track

Oh, please, do more this sort of stuff, it dresses you.

Whoa.. Firs I think (in the start 0:00 -> ) it's vocal, weird. So Ace you changed style (hope it's only this track), keep making club smashers  like Unlimited Access [Radio edit] :lovemusic: . I don't realy like trax like this (but you know what u are doing, right :?: ), but sometimes it's relaxin' to listen this kinda "peace" trax  . I think this would be nice in start of the movie. End of it is too peaceful ;) for peace track. Or maybe this would be some game intro/menu/something music. This would be nice trance track :) , with smasher melodies (ofcourse (did I spell it right :?: ). Smileys rules  . Use smileys  . That's what they're for. :lovemusic:

Nice chill track you got here ,
I start with something I really dislike , and that is the over used stereo things , I mean a synth is playing on the left , something else is on the right (just an example) ...
When u find a way to center some things and put some essational elements mor ein stereo , you'll create a much better atmosphere .
I guess the melodies work nice , it all has a nice feel , but I guess I really dislike the reason sound again , sorry to say it all the time , but it is just giving the nice tracks a worse feel to me .
The melodie works fine , but I suppose it is playing too much with the strings , I mean the notes are the same .... when u changed them a little more it would sound more complexx and interesting ...
Anyway , a nice track , but very noticable it is a fast one (it is all very simple) .

Nice song, though I would not call it either easy listening nor ambient (if we stick to definitions, but who cares them). It is a nice "slow trance" track with nice rythms.
- My first question is whether the drum section is written in redrum or drex. If it is redrum completely, full respect is yours to write such nice rythms in that short time. Though the samples are not my favourite (phaser in the hihats?), but they the job nicely.
- The song is screaming for a nice (piano) lead, not too complex, only a few notes - to create a real ambient feeling
- A bit sad, that the entire song is based on one theme. Or better to say, it is not bad that it is only one theme, but should be more variable. The easiest way to vary a song with this kinda lead theme is to vary the basic chords behind.
- The scream(?) in your first bass I'd not use.
- And as you said nice details would be good in the back, small effects, maybe voices

So, your song is definitely worth downloading, it is nice, good quality, relaxing song. I suggest however to find some time and make some further development on this track.

PS: I never read reviews before I finalise mine. The idea of trance intro by Miraculum is a nice one.

Easy Listening.. well, sounds a bit too dark to make me relax after a hard day of work ;)
But, once your chordprogression start, I get the relaxing part ;)

Actually, this combination of trancy synths and broken rythms with an ambient touch works very well (though I feel the synthy melody jumps too much octaves but it works well with that.. pingy.. sound, if you get wot I mean ;) ).
I even think you could've dodged the trancy synths and go solely with the.. pingy.. sound because it works a lot better with the overall vibe of the track. Once the synths step in, I feel like it starts to built, while it doesn't.. But, that could be my ears messin with me..

Yeah.. the vibe.. its vibe is awesome, especially around 3:00 it gets really expressive.. Love that part ;) Still, at some points I felt that the track got a tad repetitive.. perhaps becasue you use one lead throughout the entire 5:44.. Maybe adding different leads or variation in the lead could prevent this..
Or, even better in my opinion.. remix this track into a pure ambiental track (no rythms, no trancy synths but a shitload of dark strings, evil sounds and that wicked wicked wicked pingy sound)..

Anyway, it's a very cool track and it mixes different styles in a cool way.. But it could use some work on the composition.

as i see has reason 2.5 (new delays) and my ambient song helped you to get your inspiration back, or am i wrong ? Well it is really something that i didn't expect from you, but anyway not that exalent, because you made this song prety fast as i saw. Anyway it is a nice and quite dark ambient song. I agree almost with everything what AKiSeY wrote ! Anyway nice song for such a short working

Easy listening by Acecream. You allready used that tempo in one of your songs. The mid part of "never give up" i think. I still can recognize your influence in this song. Like the sythns and the beat. The beat by the way sounds very good. I like the spanish cricked sample you used. The melodys are not even complex as your trance songs but they fit in the song very wel. The melo at 2:45 should more be used as a background melody I think. Filtered with lower volume. Then after that the song looses a bit variety :blah: Mind the "a bit" !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your song would fit totally in a good high end OPENGL demo or something. Or like Miraculum said, a good intro for your Upcoming Trance album :D You have the gift to make 100% original songs Ace, and that's why I like your music that much. This is something new
Well, I hope we can get this song as a come back 'cause we didn't heard a lot from you the last few months
Anyway, keep up the good work dear webmaster ;)

Huh I think it's not easy listening or ambient rather some kind of "experimental trance" or a good intro to a concept trance-album, it's hard to define...Interesting. Very creative one, good fx, good melodies, variations, but still have some problem, which made this piece not so enjoyable as it could...The panning- work is still a bit weird, overpanned, the sound-compression is too fat for this style of music...Then why I liked this song? Because it's unusual, fresh, something new for my ears. But it's still closer trance-music than other genres, it needs only some hard drums and the party starts. But now, it's just floating somewhere between the genres, and something's missing.Maybe improve the breaked beats (now they're sounds a bit flat) and it will be a breakbeat anthem. Anyhow, it"s a good work, but could be better.
