Well, I'm not too much into Norwegian music, so I can't really vote on the originality of this song. Anyway, why should I, cause the melodies in the song are very nice, the song has awesome folksy feeling.
This electro base feeling is interesting, but I like less. I'd either use live instruments, or use more distracted electro sounds. Maybe it is just me.
And I agree with Acecream here about the drum sounds, is it a warm chorus?
Anyway, all I'd improve in the song is the bass+drum and mixing+mastering, the melodies and the instruments are nice. |

Sounds really nicely, like some movie theme music. The melodic instruments sounds very nice but the drums are sorta blured and not distinctive enought, i think you used some sort of a filter on them and you also panned them around.Well i wouldnt do that but this is a matther of taste.Drums also get just a bit repretive since they play non stop for quite some time, till the break. The break is again nice and melodic maybe some more wide sound would be good, it sound a bit full in the center now, some left and right panning could do the trick.Overall this is very original track, nice and melodic but with some flaws.Specialy the drums could be improved.Maybe some more orchestral alike drums would fit in betterly. |
