oh what a fantastic tune this is!!.... fast stompy, oh it takes me back!
this is difficult to review coz it got me bouncin so much but thats purely coz its what I used to listen to when I was younger... its full of those typical hardcore elements....
Very bouncy gabba style kick, fast hi hats... 'those' techno/gabba synths and some squeeky vocals, this track may not be everyones cup of tea but if u used to listen to this type of stuff then I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Its repetative but with the speed it doesn't matter, and there are variations in the tunes and the synths to keep you interested.
With regards to production.... its very good, I could hear that on a vinyl easily, introductions good, kinda like a steamy kinda thing going on. Drums are clear (very typical though) not so sure about the kick though... it needs more dumff or punch... the kick is the only thing I would change on this track.
Its good, simple but effective and well filled out, maybe I could learn something from this...
You can have a 8 as I thought it was very good, maybe not truly ground breaking inventive creative music but certainly does the trick!! |
