I've recently discovered the best tracking software since FT2 - Renoise! I've tested many programs, but this is the only new program that I feel comfortable with. I'm new to the program and I miss some nice features (or I have not discovered them yet?)

1. How do I transpond the whole song (1+/1- 12+/12-) notes? I know I can do it with tracks, patterns, blocks and collums but not the whole song... :?:

2. How do I convert the song into wav? I tried the Render to disk option, but nothing happened for me... :?:

3. Is there some good explanations on the VST technology ? How do I use VST instruments ? And where can I get some of them ?

4. The program can open .xm and .it files, but it seems that it cannot save it into the same formats, is that right? Why? Even if I doesn't use some of the effects that only .rns files supports, I still cannot overwrite the .xm / .it files... :?:

5. Somethings that is really annoying is when I'm going trough my instrument list in the song, it automaticly plays the instrument when I click on it... :wall: Can I remove that option somehow?

6. Is there some great site on the internet that offers good songs and instruments to Renoise, and answers on strange question like this???

I have more small questions I think, but this is the only qustions I can come up with for the moment and think are the most important get answers on. Thanks for reading, and more thanks for answering!

Have you checked out these :

Here you might get some help
http://www.renoise.com/community.htm

Here get some songs
http://www.renoise.com/songs.php

I think you must order it tom make wav files out of it or just try to find it somewhere over the net or some file sharing progs. I've tried to find it without results  , maybe you got luck and you find it. Or maybe you should get some plugin to winamp that makes it play *.rns (I think this is renoise file :?: ) and then some wav rendering plugin to winamp (I haven't tried this, but might work) by the way you should check out reason 2 (it can render waves :p ). Hope these helped a little.

With registered version you have all the features enabled: render to wav and asio support (which are the disabled features in the non registered version).

You can't transpose the whole song, but you could transpose all the istruments, you should get the same result..

You can't overwrite xm files... Sorry....

To disable the instruments autoplay click on the headphones symbol at the top of the instr bank (near "cut")

For instruments, go to renoise community and take a look into the "general discussion" forum: there's a topic called "Please post free VST/VSTi sites". Here you can find tons of vst instruments and plugins to make your renoise sound better...

For the other questions, you'd better to visit renoise site
