Boomerang have left ctg because i hate some fucking things...
He have sayed: If you write a review with a low rating you take a revenge...
I think this is true... BOTB don't talk about all the artist here, but only about some stupid artist that make this bad things...
If a take a bad rating i have no problem, i don't write a revenge-review to the artist that have give to me the bad rating, but some artist make this... |
I don't watch the number in order to judge the review as bad. I go for the content. If I receive a low score, but with excellent words I only appriciate it. A low score with not enough critic - then I think it's pathetic.
Still I think its silly to leave the site just because just someone made a silly "revenge", I wouldn't care about it. I think as long as I recieve more "fair" reviews than "unfair" one, I would only enjoy it.
Too many people leaving this great site with "small reasons", I think people have to look on the bright side of life some times... The site is great, but nothing is perfect and we have to live with defects. That's life, but we can work on getting it better of course - together.

BotB left bacause of flaming. That's not everthing he left too about the review-system that leaves everyone able to cheat in many fukkin' ways. And the site that give ppl to right to care about some stupid chart.
And yes, the chart is only an addition and I also dont understand y ppl care, since it only shows who's most active on this site.
And mark, I just leave it here. You don't seem to understand. Bye!
Abot the review-system on HM, I only have gotten one complain --> Szartd. He found that reviews were crappy. In addition to this site, I really don't mind about that anymore.. ROTFLMAO. Ofcoz, there were more complains but they were solved, or they were problems that the artist who complained created himselve. (when you aren't happy with a reasonable rating for instance)

I found reviews on HM crappy , and I find reviews crappy here also , I never compared teh reviews on HM with this site , also .... yes I was unhappy with some review on HM , so ? WHo cares ... are you goign to bring that back again for the rest of your life ?

You're talking about reviews, not the system. I meant I saw opinions in several places that HM system was bad. Mostly because of the speed. That system was very ambitious and I found it very good, but it seems like it was too ambitious, without some really active and eager reviewers - how many people want to think of detailed comments on 5 different aspects of a song separately. All in all, the idea of more ambitious and restrictive system was nice in my opinion, but the price was high. |

I agree on that Cooth. I myself enjoyed writing reviews there, because of the different aspects. I understand that this isn't working here, and I don't mind about it.
I do believe that we(I mean CTG) should have some monitoring squad. I like the report button for instance.
BUt it irritates me that I can see to songs, one clearly better then the other one, and both on the same ratings, because the guy who had higher ratings just had the 'good' ones who rated him. I think someone should look after this and write reviews on songs that are a little overated. I'm already doing this, but I think CTG needs a couple of members that look after this. It's major important because there is even a chart based on this. (the ratings chart, not te pop chart, that one is crappy)

IMO no, absolutely no way, no review done by other artist can be good in any
other way than tehnical, so guess we'll have to live with it.

Why does everybody expect review to be from people who know everything and master all issues of production perfectly and can open your gate to showbiz with those reviews? If I got it right (and maybe I didn't b/c I'm a stupid pig) this system is about feetback from the COMMON CROWD. We don't wanna see how a label reacts to our music but how people like us react to it... IMHO
