I agree with Ace. The topic was very fun, but that piramid and the other posts anoxxia made in one row, were pure nonsense, and can't be qualified as funny.

I think the translation of the word "funny" gets confused with "fun"
When something is "fun" .. like the "Longest Thread".. it's just done for enjoyments and happiness.
When something is "funny" ... like a joke ... its to make you laugh!!
I see this mistake alot on CTG!!!
Ace you can close whatever topic you want I guess... since its on your server... but maybe you could host the "Longest Thread" elsewhere and re-open it? This is quite a heartbreak to us who were just trying to have some good clean fun.

Well beside me there are 5 other moderators who would eventualy close the topic aswell. The thing is that it is not my server and site is not optimized so long topics can eventualy slow down the site but this is not really the case here. I simply dont see no point of seing 7 pages of cows and and then some sort of pymid over another 5 pages or so.This is neither fun or funny to me, and im sure most of the people would agree on this. Topic was ok but this was out of control.
So best solution is to simply start new clean fun topic and hope some people wont ruin it. |

I understand your point. I find it find to talk about who's banana it is. And I find it fun to give proper agruements about nothing, but pages with cows aren't doing any good.
