But I think it would be cool if Ace could create a "snippet" of code that anybody could copy and paste into their website that would allow CTG Radio to be broadcast from other places than just CTG. Im not totaly sure what do you mean.
You would like to see clickable "song - title" linked directly to the radio i guess? That is possible indeed, i would just have to write a little script, but since the idea is nice i will add it on the "to do" list

If doesnt matter what it looks like... maybe a small graphics that says "CTG Radio"... or maybe a text link... but just something that people could see, click, and listen to CTG Radio (without leaving the site they are browsing!) |

Yes, but this also sounds like a form of a chart. Such things can be added to the charts section. Besides, this kind of system, again, would pick most popular songs, not necessary the most valuable.
My point here is, we should try to find people who are good in their fields (I mean music styles or in the subject of music in general) and who download (or can start to) a lot from CTG. Someone that can recognise the most interesting artistic work and recommend it to those who seek for pearls in this site. This would be a kind of noble position and those people should be wise, honest and respected, and trusted as well. (wow, sounds so elevated eheh). |

yep, the point isn't that we should bring the famous good songs into the front page... but to show the unknown good songs, so that people would find good music.. i mean that favourite song thinggy doesn't nessasery say what are best, since most of people have only heard the top10 songs or something..
but hot picks selected by people who have heard most of the songs here, would make it work.. |

hmm this ->   (only works if radio is online offcourse), it is very simple, all what you need to do is to use this url: http://129.241.152.198:8000/listen.pls

Ah I never feel right about ripping code from another site... well actually usually it doesnt bother me but I have respect for you and Ace! Plus I wasnt sure if this would be "acceptable" to link to the radio or not! |

i've got an idea : ace should make an option that, when you're reading a topic, in the bottom right should be "next topic" and bottom left "prev. topic" which will ease the working with the topics. your thoughts? there's a just right places for them too! see that "new topic" button, couple of pixels up and there's a plenty of free space...

I wouldn't say I'd use it. When checking the boards, currently I go to the home page, open any new/updated topics that interest me with middle-click (new tab in Firefox ), then display the latest off-topics and again do the same for those topics that interest me (open them in new tabs).
The bottom line: I only look at the topics I'm interested in, and having next and previous links just means I have to browse through everything just to get somewhere. I say no, but that's just my two cents.
