Maybe you guys can help me. I have the following IPs banned to stop loads and lods of spam, bots, etd. and it's affecting some of you guys. I got these numbers off some website somewhere a LONG time ago and I don't remember what countries they affect. Any suggested ranges to put back in?

These ranges are insanely broad.

For example, this site lists all IP ranges used by Polish providers:
http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Lista_zakres%C3%B3w_IP

As you can see, the whole Poland is effectively banned from accessing your websites as almost EVERY IP listed there falls within your banned ranges.

I don't know what advice to give you. I understand, that spam is a big problem, but it's an overkill to just ban everyone, and there's no way you could ban only the spamming ips... Maybe someone will be smarter than me in this stuff.

obScene: Try to perhaps use an antispam tool on the server, for example Maia Mailguard. For web I suggest captchas. It's the way to go, really. Banning ipv4 addresses is not the best option.
