| concerning the talk about FT2 being the _fastest_ tracker - my experience from the g'old OHC's (One Hour Compos, I miss them!) was that most skilled IT'ers often made the best and longest tunes, which kinda left me the impression that it must be faster to track in as well. |

It depends of which ones that did compete
If I competed I would prove your sentences wrong

Yeah, of course the author matters. I got no experience with IT whatsoever tho, except playing IT-songs there. But I think I've been told from IT'ers that it's way faster to use when you got the hang of all the commands in it. I think that's a fact rather than a theory (or perhaps both partially).
Look A.K.E, let's have an OHC once on irc.. Xerxes, lemme have you in it as well. See, I used to be one of those OHC-stalkers wandering around on Espernet 2-3 years ago, participating in several compos every day for some time (/server irc.esper.net for those being interested), and I really, really miss those compos.
It's great fun, and it's a very special way of making music really. For those who didnt know, A One Hour Compo is a (randomly hosted) compo on irc where all competitors get the same samplepack, and where the mission is to make a tune within an hour, either in MOD, XM, S3M or IT-format. The whole thing is very amusing, and it's been helping me a LOT musically. Both in terms of being able to develop certain techniques, improve the general sound, learning chord-progressions, picking up tricks and techniques from fellow competitors etc. Would've been so great to re-experience those compos every now and then. So what's it gonna be? |

I agree completely! LOL! But these weren't my words (AKE's probably).

But unfortunately (?) you won't make music using your girlfriend and you won't go to bed with FT2 (unless you burn it on a CD ).
