I think the best way is like CTG is right now, in TiS you had to upload your tracks, and sometimes it fucked up and other bugs. So to avoid that I think linking is the best way.

A lot of other webpage fallen because of hosting... it needs more and more and more money, and then the page won't be free anymore...Oh God, keep us CTG free and without hosting forever!  Hmm, maybe it's wiser to praying for Ace...  |

This isn't bad, this site is great now and the uploading songs tool isn't important, i think that is better if an artist have his personal web space...

But...
Artists look for their own webspaces and therefore there are lots of problems. For example... soundclick... slow servers, going down once in a while... free hosts not allowing remote linking.
However I agree that hosting files would start causing many problems. What we might do, would be to offer information, for example which free hosts are good and recommended. |

Yes, this is a nice point, some server are really slow and with various problems. So we can build a page with the most recommended hosts of the web, with the description and the istructuions to use it.

I voted for the last option since I got some webspace for my homepage and every new song I make is published there anyway. But I agree with all the above posts, keeping the system this way there will be no limit for artists and songs

Modulez!! 
I used to upload my stuff there, but now I got my own server I keep it there ofcourse  But modulez is great, you know upload you music for.... FOREVER! Unlimited uploading YAY! obScene and Storm upload their music there aswell if I'm correct |
