But if we where to release a CTG compilation, the contract should be on someone very much involved in CTG, since the payment will go to him (and CTG, or that person do need a paypal account). So, the only name coming into mind is Randor... or Acecream. And Im not sure if anyone of those are interested in the very small, but extra work it might be.
And, the people contributing music for a release will have to give that track away, and can't sign the song with another label, since they of course want distributionrights in that case. They could release the song by themselfs though, on a album, singel or EP, selling CD's etc, since this CTG release would be a compilation of many songs, and not the same as if the song itself was released in an album. And, the musicians giving away their music would also have to face the fact that only CTG will get the payments on any sales, and.. me, from the % I get by the company as an A&R. I can see how this could annoy a few people, even though the company takes the same % without an A&R and I only get the % from their share, not the artists.
And to make the release "good", we kind of would need someone that would take on the work to do a mastering (can be very simple) on the trax, mostly to get the same kind of "pump" and definitely to get the same volume on all the trax in a release.

Take the opportunity to get your music released also!
Some CTG musicians have already signed up, and a few of them have got
their music up and selling already!
Here's a few links to our fellow CTG:ers who got their music released so far!
If you like the music, support the artists by buying a track or two, and/or be sure to add the songs to your playlist in Spotify. If you really want to support the artists, buy the tracks on iTunes (or any other store it's up on) since Spotify-plays wont support them very much economically, even though they do pay a penny or two!
