I have disabled the ReCAPTCHA check on the website.
This change is temporary, but since it was pretty much broken, there's no need to keep it on right now.
Do note, if you abuse this and massive-post several topics (enough to be annoying), do note that I have one simple button to press to remove all your topics and posts and ban you. (this isn't just the topics you posted today or yesterday, but everything)
I will do so without hestitation, because it takes me less time that way. Note that this action will not and cannot be reversed.
Now that I have that out of my system, enjoy posting without that annoying recaptcha (for as long as it takes to fix it and/or find something better) |

It actually wasn't bothering me... All I had to do was type a couple random letters in and it would accept them.

True, but ReCaptcha really did slow down the submit process.
You can ask me hundreds "why don't you" questions, answer will be, because it works that way too. - xTr1m |

Oh how I wish I knew that. I mean, there's nothing short of awesome in a long and difficult perhaps non-wordish even captcha's

Yup.
I noticed this when I somewhat got a local copy of the site working, where ReCAPTCHA does work, but some other stuff is broken. I had the same slow downs, yet everything runs locally.
I disabled recaptcha, and suddenly everything was quick again. Tested this on the forum itself, and same thing.
I do know where the problems with ReCAPTCHA lies, but I'll need some time to make some calls etc, to be sure of that and such.
