how is it hard not making a remix? i thought remixes was actually harder to do.. at least if you are going to do it well |

hehehe!! lets have ace decide! just lay down the rules.. say "THESE ARE THE RULES - now start composing!" .. we have to start soon since x-mas is only a few days away (as obscene is pointing out)..

I think everybody should just do, what he/she is best at. If you think a remix is nice, then do that. If you wanna try to mix your own christmas track, then do that. I think it doesn't really matter, as long as it sounds like christmas. And just think, we only have about two weeks left and we don't wanna waste it by discussing rules and things. So everybody just make something and have it finished t'ill the 24/25, since after that the christmas spirit starts to fade away again.
The idea with making an extra artist for this is in my oppinion quite good, since everybody can put their songs under this name and others can then give it a rating, just like with normall songs.

1. Well, i suggest to not be so democratic, cause you will never finish. A very few of you should discuss the rules and let it decide. If someone does not like it, he should not participate.
2. I suggest you to 'suggest a new genre', called 'Chrismas'. All songs can be added as usual, but to that genre. Set deadline for the latest upload. Set deadline for the latest review. The highest rated is the winner, if winner is important at all 
3. Once you done with the proper rules, just write a news about it to promote it better |

xerxes: Indeed, its harder to make a decent remix.
LiquidRadiation: Guess the remixes would have a bigger chance against the original melodies, coz a melody you've never heard before have no big chances to get connected with christmas. |
