I don't know how to do it in Reason and I don't know what Reason offers you, but I'll try to breakdown what I hear:
- Bass (sine/triangle at octave -2) which is used to boost the feeling
- A square or saw waveform with a short decay to create the start sound
- A supersaw/supersquare with unison and vibrato with filter on it to construct the rest of the lead. It is possible that you need 2 different waveforms and modulate eachother to get this sound. I can clearly hear that they vibrate. Not entirely sure if unison is required for this sound or that just modulation is enough.
You might want to check out the VSTi Superwave P8 (306 hits) (if Reason 4 can deal with VSTi's, that is).
You can ask me hundreds "why don't you" questions, answer will be, because it works that way too. - xTr1m |
