Sorry for all the spam. I currently seem not to be able to disable registration again, and without it being disabled, spam will keep coming and coming.
I've sent a message to AceCream who enabled registration in the hopes that he can disable it again. Until then, don't click any links on the forum, or risk getting infected by virusses or spyware (thats what these spammers do) |

Isn't there an option to keep registrations enabled, but forbid bots to register, create posts etc? I don't know if that counts for all kins of bots, but when I make a forum with MyBB or something I can go to the admin control panel and say google bot, msn bot, fireball bot etc can read and start topics or not etc. |

Not without any modifications. Currently, I can't make any modifications to the code though...

With help from Yannick of MadTracker, registration has been disabled again. The spam is stopped again.

Spent some time deleting spam from comments form, didn't even scratch the surface yet

Yeah, I noticed that some of the spam comments on my songs have been removed.

Oh, I actually never thought of that.
I bet it is easy to query/delete this, by removing every comment that is made by a not-existing user. Since all spammers are deleted by me, and I do remove their topics/posts from the database, I bet I can remove the comments too.
I'll have to look into this.

Its quite easy to do with CM tool also, but it seems to be forbidden for me. I'm getting 403. Still got remove button's  |
