And that is why you are able to remove those dead links by yourself 
I'm not into rush either, just know how spare time projects may end up, if work itself is too time-consuming. So far sounds good

There is or was ROTW (Reviewer Of The Week) and ROTM (Reviewer Of The Month) if I recall correctly. For me that's enough;)
Image uploading for the purpose of sharing - members would also have the ability comment on images as well as rate them.

I don't get it, CTG is about music..

we can stay with diaries, anyway I bet not many users will use this feature..

Better member search (ie: age range, state, gender, etc.)

This is not myspace
A more personalized home page (the ability to add your own background, a section for likes/dislikes, etc.) Another feature of a paid membership to do more things with your page.

Member rating - You can rate members on a scale from 1 to 10. 1 meaning you don't like that person at all, and 10 meaning he/she is one of the coolest people you know on CTG.

Currently there is a feature like artist charts position - this is the music thing, not the I-like-that-guy-thing, again - this is not myspace;)
Implemented video support on the forums - meaning you can add a YouTube video so people could just click the "play" button instead of visiting the actual YouTube page.

If I remember correctly there was an idea to add the feature like this, don't know what happened in a meantime. I think it's good..
After the page is done, we can make a big competition with sponsored awards, spread the news using mailing lists, in other music forums, webs, build a fanpage on FB and make it all alive. Competition can be about make a remix using prepared vocals or similar..

If this is easy to implement, I'm all for it. Especially if by inviting someone we could bypass the disabled registration

| Thanks AmBeam and Valve! Again, I was just brainstorming. I would agree that paid memberships are unnecessary, but these are just ideas! I also hope that they opened you up to ideas! Would you be happy with an automatic mailing system as well? I honestly think that's the biggest thing we need. |

One thing I'd hope for. When browsing through the songlist, I see the release date in the following format: 01 Jan. 23:37.
I would like to see the year of release as well. Same goes for the comments every song has. There is no year when the comment has been given.
This change might help in the process of going though the archive

This has teased me ever since site launch and should be fixed. But you can make assumption by checking url via mouse pointer: song number on the end of url tells something

I had a Shoutcast station up for a little while. I was using free hosting services and none of them were good enough. They either didn't list the CTG station in the shoutcast directory, or it simply didn't stream because they wanted me to buy their ripoff premium service.
Are you familiar with Shoutcast? I'm talking about setting it up, etc. |
