Let's summarize the pros and cons of EDM resellers. Remember to add to this list if you wish!
Audiojelly
Advantages
-Very cheap! Everything is 99 cents including some WAVs and some exclusive releases!
-Awesome promotions! Can be very tempting! (i.e. Add six tracks to your cart and get them all for just 99 cents)
-The layout is very clean and well organized.
Disadvantages
-The collection range isn't as wide.
-You have to fill in credit / debit card number again every time you pay.
Beatport
Advantages
-Exclusive releases
-Excellent customer service
-Larger collection of EDM tracks.
Disadvantages
-Everything is extremely overpriced compared to other resellers!
Junodownload
Advantages
-Huge collection of EDM when compared to Beatport.
-Helpful / innovative Search Engine
Disadvantages
-Messy layout and small text (hard to read).
-Slightly more overpriced than Audiojelly but cheaper than Beatport.
iTunes
Advantages
-Cheap! Costs only 99 cents and some are $1.29.
-The Collection of EDM is bigger compared to Audiojelly.
-Can be purchased easily through Apple products, most speciflly their mobile products which allows you to buy and download on the go!
-One click ready! You just click and it downloads for you! No need to go confirm any payments, etc.
Disadvantages
-256 Kbps AAC Format is the only option (No WAV or 320 Kbps) which sound geeks like me don't like.
-Not a very advanced search engine (no specific search for Music Label, subgenre etc.) |

There are plenty of online stores out there, one of them being www.trackitdown.net. I haven't anything from there in a long time, so I won't be listing out pros or cons.
Personally I buy my mp3's from Beatport and iTunes (albums really).
A brand new Valve release is coming soon!

I dont buy pro music anymore, I listen to online radios, youtube videos and mainly amateur musicans like people here.
I think I enjoy making music far more than listening to it

You and me both! I buy something occasionally if it sounds good enough for me to want to give the artist money for it, but I haven't heard anything worth actually buying. I have a whole YouTube collection of favorites. That's where I listen to most of my music. |
