Hi everyone,
I wish this was a triumphant return in which I declare my undying love to music and reaffirm my unwaivering resolve to become the best musician on the face of the planet. Sadly though, this isn't the news I have for you today.
So, why return if I'm not really making that much music eh? Well, recent events have forced me to realize that we have an influx of people that might not be entirely honest. So, I'm going to make things easy for you: As of now, I am picking up my old discarded mantle which reads "Review arbiter from hell"
What that means is that to the best of my ability, I will actively sniff out and report all self-reviewers and all revenge reviewers too. Sure, these reviews might not be acted upon by staff immediately, but they'll be taken care of soon enough. As I have many years of experience with doing this for CTG, it's pretty trivial for me to spot the people trying to sneak one on by.
So, to those that know that you've been less than honest, you have been officially warned. I am in no way affiliated with the CTG staff, so I have no official position here. (and neither do I wish for one) But I'll be damned if I'm going to let you asshats parade all over CTG as you please.

I've gone through pretty much all the reviews made so far this year and even though I found some that could be written better, most of them were legit. I did manage to nail down some alt accounts (admins are informed of those) and I've also compiled a list of accounts to keep an eye out for as they've made reviews which are .... questionable to say the least. (but not questionable enough to warrant a report)
Overall, I'm pleased with what I saw here, I expected more bullshit. But then again, I might have just gotten lucky and timed it precisely after the admins did a sweep 
Anyways, in the words of robocop: STAY OUT OF TROUBLE.

I've been reading through some of the recent posts here and was likewise disgusted with the self-review claims and counter claims. Reminds me of TiS a couple of years ago.

With an attitude like that, I think you should be an admin. You'd make a great one! I think there's about three inactive ones that should probably have their permission revoked. No point in keeping them as admins if they haven't logged in in about three years.

With an attitude like that, I think you should be an admin. You'd make a great one! I think there's about three inactive ones that should probably have their permission revoked. No point in keeping them as admins if they haven't logged in in about three years.

The problem is that I don't have the time to be a full time admin, nor do I feel unbiased enough to be one as I can sometimes get a bit hot under the collar. So this is the more optimal solution for everyone involved
