I saw this in another forum and thought I would ask the same here!

So, how loud do you play your music?

Loud enough for me to hear the music. Duh! :P
You can ask me hundreds "why don't you" questions, answer will be, because it works that way too. - xTr1m

I'd say I play my music rather quiet. I'm not resistant to loud noise, which is why I always have my earplugs with me when I go to a concert. On the other hand I crank the levels pretty high when I'm working, and I can't use my earplugs when I'm playing for some reason.

Depends on whether I'm composing or mixing, or if I'm just listening. If I'm working on what I'm listening to I play it only as loud as I need in order to hear the inner details.

If I'm listening in a recreational sense I like to crank it :)

For mixing low volume is my thing. Best way to find out how little backround tricks spots out.

Remember when banging out loud: the only unreplaceable item in your gear is your ears. Lose them and you'll loose music. Forever.
