Does anyone have the source code for a 3ds max file player or know where I can find it?

Player? you can only open 3ds max files in discreets 3ds max, as far as i know because this is a scene file, like scn or maybe psd in photoshop. if you want to play an animation or picture created with 3ds max it has to be exported first.

If this is what you mean, you indeed need to render your scene in a movie file.

Try Moppi Demopaja.

Afaik it can handle 3dsmax scenes in realtime.

It´s going to be a very big hit!

I've convered to MAS and used it in DemoPaja but this isn't enough. I like DemoPaja but unfortunately our current demo is already in progress, and converting the effects to demopaja would be a) a waste of time and b) demoralizing to our demo group. The Pligrimage invite deserves more

btw I just realized I spelt Pilgrimage wrong...

Yah that was a crazy demo! Fave part is that 2d to 3d effect where the repeating heads become 3d. Can't say I liked the beginning with the daving people though. That looked silly and undemo like (loaded external video).
