You are kidding now, right?
Wich child (cu´s I guess most of us feel in love with music early.... since it takes time to learn) does think that "Oh, i´ll play the flute, cu´s i´ll probably get filthy rich by it..."??
It´s the love for the music. If money comes in, later on, its a bi-product (and, ofcourse, a good one).
I´ll even clean the toilets! |

| Well, I make music for either fun, or to express my feelings, or both at the same time. I surely do not compose for money, and I'm not sure I could, if I had to... feedback and appreciation are my key words. |

No. Those are 2 different things - what you're talking about here is not aim - it's just a random opportunity. Of course I would take the money if someone wanted to pay me. But I am not aiming at it - if it happens, cool, if not - doesn't matter.  I will make music even though I don't expect to earn from it, it's simply not my goal. I have another vision for my life, it's the job and stuff. So - the music IS for the sake of music and expressing myself somehow.
And as some writer said (not exactly like this, but this is the gist): A bad writer thinks about money when writing. A good writer thinks about writing when writing.
