Well I dont know the exact formula, but it seems to be specifically related to downloads. When you release a new song ( and get downloads ) your popularity number will raise which effects your position on the charts. After your songs slows down so will your popularity. If you dont release for a while it can go back to 0. Really the number is very dynamic and you shouldnt put any weight into it.

One another note I can tell you one thing that will not help your popularity:
Not linking directly to songs
I would be listening to one of your tracks right now, but I downloaded "tune.php" instead... and I dont hear anything. What is going on??? I know modulez allows direct links, so do it.. or I will never hear your songs!

I suggest you to read the FAQ, where you hopefully get your answers to your questions, like popularity.
First you need reviews, to get some points, and some downloads to be popular. That is the trick. |

i got my song on my space yes

and if you type this in your explorer you will get the download but when i type this in ctg he wont accept it, file does not excist so i gave the link to the site :s sorry for that hopefully somebody can help me :s

nah, if you right english then don't forget to use your '.' and ',' s. That makes is easier to read.
Yeah they accept you or don't. You can upload then now, but when they check it and believe it's not good, then they kick you out. Anywayz, you'll see what happens I think.
