I made my own monitor out of cheese.
|
u gotta teach me how to do that |
I can teach ya. You take a piece of cheese and a little knife. With the knife, you draw a rectangle on one side of the cheese and you may add some dots beyond if you need functions like brightness and contrast adjustments (if you draw circles it'll be even better, but you need a little practice for that).
If a monitor made of one piece of cheese is too little for you, you may first put a large box together from little pieces of cheese and draw the mentioned elements on the big box. It is also advisable to glue those pieces together or use a sellotape. Good luck.
Hope this helps.
PS. I now use an ordinary LG monitor instead, it seems to have a little better colour.

Cooth, I'm guessing your LG monitor doesn't have the same jaundice effect that the cheese one had?

Yeah, that one had one colour pretty dominating, I didn't know what to do about that. Maybe someone has a solution, I might then come back to cheese monitors. Help is appreciated.

I have a solution to ease the yellowness.
Mix the cheese with some EDAM, that'll give you some red...Then, add in a choice blend of Blue Stilton cheese. With the regular cheddar, leave it in a nice humid place for a month, and it should turn green....All those mixed together, should produce a relatively well balanced RGB display.

You surely know a lot about cheese! But I heard obtaining green may rise some problems with smell.
Btw. I was thinking about cutting a piece of blue cheese from the Moon - not a bad idea either, eh?

It would leave you with a strong taste of blue though..Having blue cheese from the moon, and the Stilton Blue cheese....Although, if you're only surfing CTG, you'll never notice!
