a98, yes, the thread topic was a stupid aggressive gesture, but it was made deliberately, with the hopes of getting a ton of immature replies, happily Ive noticed that the flood just didn´t flow into this thread, and that in fact, CTG seems more mature than before, but alas, it is still too early to tell!
The bad thing about using the term "trance kiddie" was that alot of people
thought I meant trance listeners/artists instead of immature trackers!
I kinda though that most people actually knew what the term stood for
seeing as its been around since the TIS days (which for me seems like ages ago!)

Hehe.. Reminded me of a song UU released at TiS. =)
If you still have only a vague image of what a trance kiddie (or primadonna) would sound like, rest your ears on this:
UU - TiS Complaint

You might have to listen to it a few times to get everything what he says, but that's a fine example of a TK/PD. =D
Anywho, that was my two cents for this subject.
I too would like to make a song with :sheep: ! (404 hits)

Well, I see your points and all.. but if you have this urge to start threads only to deliberately piss people off, then I guess we all know who the immature one is: you.

Having said that, I also must admit that I am having serious problems with this statement: "..but alas, it is still too early to tell"..
:?:
What?? You actually have fooled yourself to believe that you are mature enough to sense the pulse of this forum? Let me help you: No, you are not.

Seriously, if you start a thread like this and try to argue that anyone who gets mad at you are immature, then I guess you've completey missed the point.

Some of us actually use this forum, so please just stop posting your "stupid, aggressive" topics..

Besides, many of the "Trance Kiddies" in here have ten times more talent then you will ever get. :geek:

Yes, as many of you noticed, Im back, CTG deserves a second chance, lets see if this community is still infested with nasty trance kiddies, or if its matured since I sort of left. (although I never stopped reviewing)

Well, what are you CTG people waiting for? Dazzle me! :D

J/M/T/M

Damn I just read your artist page (news, description, poll)... Looks like you're running an entire campaign against those "terrorists". I think it's time to chill and concentrate on other things. I mean in a community with 1200 members it's pretty likely you meet a lot of people who you're not really comfortable with. But it's also likely that you meet people who think just like you so take them into consideration as well  Just ignore the trance kiddies, I know the kind but I haven't had any problems yet :eyes:
So, bottom line: Don't let some guys you're not comfortable with scare you off from sharing your music and reviews. It's just not worth it :cop: Look through the forum and you'll see there are a lot of nice people here who make it worth hanging around :bravo: Hmm, maybe the first step would be getting yourself a proper artist description and some news  Interesting topic though :wizard:

I think mature people can ignore these emails where your efforted review has been shot down by cursing and flaming. I've received many this sort of comments upon my reviews, less recently though ( and very fewm from CTG, have to say). I know my abilities to advice and review, they're not huge but I use them. If I receive email upon my review, I'll explain peacefully why I stated like I did, what are reasons for scoring. Also I explain scoring is something people do as they see best, there is no ultimate scale to obey since only technical issues are somehow comparable. Getting offended in this stage makes opposite person ( musician ) feel you patronized to review her/his song instead of humble opinion share. There's always kids ( remember we all have been young ;) ) who doesn't have expreience to face critics, not even fair one.
So, instead of war and irritation, take few breath and think how you'd react 10 years back, sit down and write some friendly explanations. Vague arrogancy is worst choice. You're not that sense-skinned :)
