Soon Outpost intend to revive the Knock Out Tournament.

There are no dates yet, but it will be happening very soon.

If you express an interest in this competion, keep focused on our site, as we will announce the 'recruitment' stage when a decision has been reached.

Due to the popularity of the first contest, the number of artists allowed maybe doubled.

I can't compete becasue I don't know how good I am.

Right now, my best work is in the form about 26 previews, unfinished songs ranging from 2 - 6 min :( If you are on my msnm list, you know. :crap: :cry:

Compo will be starting as soon as I get a response from roncli, he seems to have vanished...need him to do the necessary updates to the site, ready for hosting.

rules are pretty simple - set sample pack each round, songs must be tracked and submitted in tracked source format (IT, XM, S3M, MOD, etc, but no-mp3, etc). 5 days will be time given to complete a tune with set sample pack.

There will be either 3 or 5 judges. Judging will work on the basis of 1 song against 1 song, voting on their favourite of the two. Out of 3 or 5 votes, one voted favourite most, wins. Artist through to next round, with new sample pack.

I will post when recruitment stage is announced. In the first compo, we had over 20 people wanting to participate, but due to the nature of the compo, we only allowed first 16. If we receive over 32 entrants this time around, compo will be extended by another round...and if 64 (wishful thinking?) so on....
